A central console unit for a vehicle includes a first partial unit that is fixedly connectable to the vehicle and a second partial unit shiftably connected in relation to the first partial unit to the first partial unit. The first partial unit has a first air guiding arrangement that is connectable to an air-conditioning device of the vehicle. The second partial unit has a second air guiding arrangement which is shiftably connected to the first air guiding arrangement at least in sections along the first air guiding arrangement. The second partial unit forms a central console for the vehicle.

A table device for an interior of a vehicle includes a table element that is positionable between a non-use position and a use position where the table element is disposable in a region of an instrument panel of a front passenger of the vehicle. An underside of the table element, in an installed position of the table element in the interior of the vehicle, faces a front passenger seat of the vehicle in the non-use position. The underside of the table element has a tear-resistant microsandwich material. The tear-resistant microsandwich material has a tear-resistant surface and a core that fails in a targeted manner.

A table device for an interior of a vehicle includes a table element that is positionable from a non-use position into a use position. The table element, secured to a pivot arm in the non-use position, forms a trim element of a center console of the vehicle. The pivot arm is secured to a frame element and the frame element is guided by a guide element through a predefined movement path. The frame element is liftable by a first drive unit through the predefined movement path such that the table element pivots out in part, through a predefined angle, from a housing formed by the center console. The table element is liftable by a second drive unit into the use position.

A method for producing a sandwich component, in particular an inner trim component for a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The method begins with a core layer made from a foamed plastic and a cover layer which includes reinforcing fibers and plastic fibers. The plastic of the core layer has a first melting temperature which is higher than the second melting temperature of the plastic fibers of the cover layer. By the core layer being arranged on the cover layer, a multilayer composite is created. This multilayer composite can be further processed into a semi-finished product. The multilayer composite or the semi-finished product is then heated in a heating device to a temperature which is lower than the first melting temperature but therefore higher than the second melting temperature. Then the heated multilayer composite or the semi-finished product is formed in a forming tool in order to produce the sandwich component.

Sandwich composite component and production process therefor

The present invention relates to a sandwich component, which comprises a honeycomb core () having a plurality of webs (') and at least one cover layer (), wherein the honeycomb core () is made of a cellulose-based material, in particular paper. The cover layer () is formed from a fiber-reinforced semifinished product having a thermoplastic material matrix, wherein the webs (&#x2032;) of the honeycomb core () are partially received into the thermoplastic material matrix of the cover layer () at connection points (A) to the cover layer () so that the sandwich component is bonded. The invention further relates to production methods for the sandwich component.
