A heat exchanger assembly includes a first heat exchanger plate and a second heat exchanger plate each include an outer boundary edge. The heat exchanger assembly also includes a service plate configured to be coupled to the outer boundary edge of each of the first and second heat exchanger plates. The service plate includes multiple sections coupled together to form a single plate, wherein each section of the multiple sections is configured to be individually removed to provide access to a space between the first and second exchanger plates.

A centrifugal blower includes a centrifugal fan having a fan wheel that is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The centrifugal blower includes a blower housing having a first side panel, a second side panel, and a wall extending about the rotational axis and between the first and second side panels. The centrifugal blower also includes a cutoff plate that is configured to extend about the rotational axis, where the cutoff plate includes a first end with a flange having a camber geometry and a second end that is configured to overlap with the wall such that an amount of overlap between the second end and the wall is adjustable to adjust a position of the flange relative to the fan wheel. The centrifugal blower further includes an exhaust port defined by the first side panel, the second side panel, the wall, and the flange.

The present disclosure relates to a flow generating device for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning system. The flow generating device includes a housing having a channel defining a flow path of a fluid and a fan blade having a rotational axis extending through the channel, where the fan blade is configured to rotate to force the fluid along the flow path. A portion of the fan blade axially protrudes beyond the channel in a direction generally aligned with the flow path and a winglet extends from the portion of the fan blade.

A heating system, includes a furnace that is configured to heat air to be provided to a conditioned space, a pressure sensor configured to collect sensor data indicative of a pressure of air within the furnace; a fan configured to supply the heated air to the conditioned space, and a motor configured to drive the fan. Additionally, the heating system includes processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the pressure sensor and the motor. The processing circuitry is configured to control the motor based upon the sensor data such that an amount of airflow supplied to the conditioned space is constantly supplied by the fan.

Systems and methods for providing airflow in furnace systems

The present disclosure describes techniques concerning a fan assembly. The fan assembly may include a fan, having multiple blades to rotate about an axis, and a housing in which the fan is disposed. Additionally, the fan assembly may include an air inlet formed in a wall of the housing that is transverse to the axis. The air inlet may define an orifice and includes multiple air guides that each extend into the housing from a perimeter of the air inlet.

A bracket system includes a first bracket configured to couple a heat exchanger coil to a base of a heat exchanger via engagement of a mounting surface of the base, where the first bracket has a recessed member and a fastening tab, and a second bracket configured to couple the heat exchanger coil to a shroud of the heat exchanger via engagement of a fastener, where the second bracket has a protruding member and a protruding ridge. The recessed member is configured to receive the protruding member such that the first bracket and the second bracket are coupled to one another in a first configuration of the bracket system, and where the fastening tab is configured to receive the protruding ridge such that the first bracket and the second bracket are coupled to one another in a second configuration of the bracket system.

A furnace system is provided having a blower bracket arrangement. The blower bracket arrangement is configured to mount both a blower and electrical controls for the furnace. The bracket supports the blower for the HVAC system and provides an easy mode for moving the blower in and out of the HVAC system for maintenance and repairs. The electrical controls are easily accessible when mounted to the blower bracket arrangement.
