A syringe pump configured to at least partially surround a syringe loaded into the pump. The syringe pump including a syringe pump housing defining a syringe receptacle shaped and sized to accept loading of the syringe, a plunger driver assembly configured to manipulate a plunger of a syringe loaded into the syringe pump, and a syringe housing including a syringe barrel shield pivotably coupled to the syringe pump housing configured to at least partially enclose a syringe loaded into the syringe pump within the syringe receptacle, and a syringe plunger tray and lid assembly operably coupled to the syringe pump housing and configured to at least partially enclose a portion of the plunger driver assembly.

Systems and methods for syringe handling

A visualization catheter includes an elongate shaft, a cap portion, and an offset balloon coupled to the distal end of the shaft. The elongate shaft includes a proximal end, a distal end, and a central axis defined therebetween. The cap portion is coupled to the distal end of the shaft. The cap portion also includes a visualization element and defines an aperture. The offset balloon is coupled to the distal end of the shaft and encapsulates the cap portion. The offset balloon defines a center point offset relative to the central axis of the shaft.

Radially-directed balloon visualization device

An LVP that provides peristaltic pumping to removably couplable administration set tubing assemblies supplying medical infusate. The LVP includes a housing, a drive-train assembly, and a controller. The housing includes an assembly receptacle configured to receive an administration set tubing assembly. The drive-train assembly provides mechanical peristaltic movement within the assembly receptacle. The drive-train assembly includes a stepper motor located within the housing and a camshaft assembly, driven by the stepper motor and at least partially extending into the assembly receptacle. The camshaft assembly includes a unitary camshaft and a plurality of tube engaging members that cooperatively move according to rotation of the unitary camshaft. Further, the controller is located within the housing that controls operation of the stepper motor and the camshaft assembly.

Infusion pump systems and methods for administration sets

According to one aspect, a visualization device may include an image sensor, a lens for focusing light onto the image sensor, a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a lateral wall surface extending between the first end and the second end, and a coating on the lateral wall surface. The coating may include at least one of an electrically-insulating layer and a light-blocking layer, and may be deposited on the lateral wall surface using, for example, physical vapor deposition (PVD).

An illuminated needle device for performing a heart valve repair includes an outer member and an inner member. The outer member includes a body that has a proximal end and a distal end. The body of the outer member defines a lumen therethrough and the distal end of the body includes a needle. The inner member is slidably disposed within the lumen of the outer member. The inner member includes a distal end that has a radiation emitting element. The illuminated needle device is characterized by the outer and inner members together forming a flexible, elongate shaft, and the inner member being configured to emit radiation from the radiation emitting element from a location proximate to the distal end of the outer member.

The first seal includes a first polymeric material and the second seal includes a second polymeric material. An introducer catheter device comprising a handle and an elongate shaft coupled to the handle and extending therefrom. Introducer systems, devices and methods for heart valve reductions

Methods of manufacturing implantable medical devices with one or more undermolded features are disclosed. An example method includes injection molding an annular-shaped member onto an inner surface of a sacrificial mold insert, and then undermolding an elongate medical device body directly to the member. The member is directly coupled to the device body without the use of adhesives or bonding agents, thus eliminating the presence of gaps or surface irregularities that can affect device performance.
