An electromechanical chassis actuator includes a single electric motor and two screw drives. The two screw drives use a common threaded spindle. A spindle nut of the first screw drive is rotationally fixed to the electric motor's rotor and engages the threaded spindle in a back-driveable manner. A spindle nut of the second screw drive is selectively coupled to the electric motor's rotor by a coupler and engages the threaded spindle in a self-locking (not back-driveable) manner. When the coupler is in an engaged position, the actuator operates in a level-adjustment mode. When the coupler is in a released position, the actuator operates in a damping mode.

Electromechanical chasis actuator

The disclosure relates to bearing bushes for a motor vehicle, in which the bearing bushing may be switchable between a first and a second stiffness stage. The bearing bushing may include a first elastomer ring, which is arranged at least indirectly on an outer circumferential surface of a bolt, and a second elastomer ring, which is arranged radially between a first and second sleeve. The second sleeve may be arranged radially between the first and the second elastomer rings. In order to change the stiffness stage of the bearing bushing, the two sleeves may be connectable to one another by at least one ring which comes into contact with said sleeves at an end side.

Switchable bearing bushing for a motor vehicle

Bearing bushes, for example, for a chassis of a motor vehicle are disclosed. A bearing bush may include a shaft, a hub, and an elastomer element which is arranged radially therebetween. The bearing bush may be configured to be switched between a first and second stiffness levels. The hub may have a main body and a plurality of radially adjustable plungers which are arranged in the main body. The plungers may be configured to engage the elastomer element and change the stiffness of the bearing bush from the first stiffness level to the second stiffness level. The elastomer element may have a plurality of radial elements arranged on the main body and configured to be compressed via a respective plunger in order to increase the stiffness of the bearing bush. An actuator including an electric motor may be configured to radially adjust the plungers in the main body.
