A system includes input or output channels linked to nominal and redundant equipment items, and at least one redundancy matrix for routing the signals of a channel from one equipment item to a redundant or nominal equipment item, represented by a connection grid having rows corresponding to the channels of the system and columns corresponding to the equipment items of the system, and connection points comprising: the points of intersection of a nominal path situated on a nominal diagonal of the connection grid, and the points of intersection of a redundant path of the connection grid situated between each row corresponding to a channel Cand a column corresponding to a redundant element Rof index ƒ(i), ƒ being surjective, the redundancy matrix being implemented in the form of a circuit comprising switches arranged according to the connection grid.

Redundancy matrix-based system

A control node for an array antenna configured so as to apply an attenuation and a phase shift to a radiofrequency signal on the basis of a control signal, to a beamforming network, to an array antenna and to a satellite includes the control node. It comprises a quadratic divider that delivers an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal on separate transmission channels, a combiner configured so as to sum the signals transmitted on two of the transmission channels, each transmission channel comprising at least: one attenuation cell activated on the basis of the value of a dedicated bit of the control signal, and one phase shift cell configured so as to apply a fixed phase shift, activated on the basis of the result of combinational logic implemented on bits of the control signal.

Control node with an octagonal vector constellation for an array antenna

An attenuator is configured to attenuate and phase-shift a radiofrequency signal according to a control signal, having a plurality of first attenuation cells (A, A), configured to attenuate said radiofrequency signal by a predetermined value and activated according to a particular bit of the control signal, and implementing a combinatorial logic on the bits of the control signal that are used to control the first attenuation cells, and at least one second attenuation cell (B, B) configured to attenuate said radiofrequency signal by a predetermined value and activated according to a particular output implementing the combinatorial logic. A control node is also provided for an array antenna having such an attenuator, and an array antenna having an array of such control node and a satellite.

Multiscale vector constellation

An inductive element formed of planar windings in different conductive levels, the windings being formed in a number of levels smaller by one unit than the number of windings, two of the windings being interdigited in a same level.

Multiple-level inductance

A distributed phase shifter including: a first planar winding having its ends defining accesses in phase opposition; a second planar winding coupled with the first one and grounded by a first capacitive element; a third planar winding in a conductive level different from that receiving the first winding and electrically in series with the second winding; and a fourth planar winding, coupled with the third one in a conductive level different from that receiving the second winding, first ends of the third and fourth windings being connected by a capacitive element and their second ends being connected by another capacitive element, their first and second respective ends defining accesses in phase quadrature.
