An item of exercise equipment with a movable support that is movable in a fore-aft direction and simultaneously movable laterally, e.g. about a tilt axis. The exercise equipment may be a cycle mounted to a base. A roller and track arrangement may be provided between the cycle and base, to provide movement of the cycle in the axial direction and in a tilt direction relative to the base. The roller and track arrangement may be one or more curved roller and track engagement surfaces that extend in the axial direction and provide a gravity bias of the platform toward an axial neutral position. The cycle and base include a tilt biasing arrangement for biasing the cycle toward a tilt neutral position relative to the base.

Movably supported exercise device

Bicycle

A bicycle includes a frame, a storage compartment, a battery pack, a pedal assist unit, and a lighting system. The frame includes a head tube, a stem, a down tube, a central hub, and a pair of chain stays. The central hub defines an internal cavity. The down tube and the central hub cooperatively define a battery opening connected to the internal cavity. The storage compartment includes a door positioned to selectively enclose an opening in the down tube. The battery pack is releasably received by the battery opening. The pedal assist unit is disposed within the internal cavity. The lighting system includes one or more taillights integrated into the chain stays, a conspicuity lamp integrated into the head tube, and/or a headlight integrated into to at least one of the stem or the head tube.

Electric bicycle

A bicycle includes a frame, a motor, a battery, a key interface, a crank set, and a shell. The frame defines a cavity and an opening providing access to the cavity. The motor is coupled to frame beneath the cavity. The battery extends at least partially into the frame. The battery is configured to power the motor. The key interface is positioned along an exterior of the frame. Turning a key in the key interface releases the battery to facilitate removing the battery from the frame. The crank set is coupled to the motor. The crank set includes crank arms. The shell extends at least partially over the opening.

An exercise arrangement includes a movable support that is movable in a fore-aft direction and simultaneously movable laterally, e.g. about a tilt axis. The support may be a platform movably mounted to a base. A roller and track arrangement may be provided between the platform and the base, to provide movement of the platform in the axial direction relative to the base as well as an axially neutral position of the platform relative to the base. The roller and track arrangement may be in the form of one or more curved roller and track engagement surfaces that extend in the axial direction and that provide a gravity bias of the platform toward the neutral position. The roller and track arrangement may provide tilting movement of the movable platform about the tilt axis. A tilt biasing arrangement biases the platform toward a neutral tilt position relative to the base.

Movable support for exercise equipment

A vehicle-mounted equipment carrier includes a mounting member, an equipment support, and a mast. A lower end of the mast is pivotably interconnected with the mounting member and an upper end of the mast supports the equipment support. The mast is pivotable between an upright position for transport and a lowered position that positions the mast rearwardly of the vehicle. A movable connection between the mast and the equipment support lowers an inner end of the equipment support while raising an outer end when the mast is lowered, and raises the inner end of the equipment support while lowering the outer end when the mast is raised. The center of gravity of the equipment carried by the equipment support remains at a constant elevation during movement of the mast between the upright position and the lowered position.

Pivoting hitch-type vehicle-mounted equipment carrier with equipment weight compensation feature

A hitch-type equipment carrier for mounting to a vehicle includes a coupling member, a brace member fixed to the coupling member, and a wedge member that is movable relative to the coupling member. A manually operable actuator is positioned between the brace member and the wedge member. When the coupling member is positioned within the hitch receiver passage, operation of the actuator moves the wedge member in a first direction toward the open end of the hitch receiver passage. The wedge member moves outwardly upon advancement through the open end of the hitch receiver passage. Such transverse movement of the wedge member brings the wedge member into contact with one or more walls of the hitch receiver, which forces the coupling member against one or more of almost walls of the hitch receiver for preventing rattle of the coupling member within the passage of the hitch receiver.

The system includes a sensing device arranged for detecting a speed-related value of the bicycle and a processor that communicates with the sensing device. The processor is configured to determine a change in the speed-related value and to determine a power value based on the change in the speed-related value.
