A refrigerator appliance includes a compartment and a door having an interior wall and at least one rail attached thereto. A harvest bin assembly is attachable to the at least one rail and includes a housing having a mount for securing the housing to the at least one rail. First pivot elements are disposed on each side of the housing. A removable bin defines a storage space and includes a plurality of holes formed in a bottom wall thereof. Second pivot elements are disposed on a side wall of the removable bin and engage a corresponding first pivot element on the housing. The first pivot elements and the second pivot elements define a pivot axis whereby the removable bin pivots between a first, closed position and a second, open position. A tray engages the bottom wall of the removable bin when the removable bin is in the first, closed position.

A drawer system includes a drawer and a drawer cover. The drawer can include an open top and be configured to be supported at a supporting structure, such as a refrigerator fresh food compartment for example, for selective sliding movement outwardly from the supporting structure and sliding movement inwardly toward the supporting structure. The drawer cover can be configured to be mounted at the supporting structure in engagement with the drawer at the open top of the drawer for movement directly vertically upwardly at the supporting structure away from the open top of the drawer when the drawer is moved outwardly from the supporting structure and for movement directly vertically downwardly at the supporting structure toward the open top of the drawer when the drawer is moved inwardly toward the supporting structure.

A storage bin includes a container portion and a two-piece lid mechanism. The two-piece lid mechanism has a front lid portion that covers the front part of the container portion and a rear lid portion that covers the rear area of the container portion. When the front lid portion is opened, the rear lid portion slides along the top surface of the front lid portion while the front lid portion fits rotatably underneath the rear lid portion in such a way that when the front lid portion and the rear lid portion are completely opened, the lid portions do not extend above the top plane surface of the two-piece lid mechanism. The storage bin may be mounted within a recess in the inner wall of a refrigerator door.

A storage unit can include a front wall, a rear wall and a divider selectively locatable at at least three positions between the front wall and the rear wall, thereby defining at least three distinct storage areas. The front wall can include a front wall free edge that is structured to support and retain obliquely and spaced away from one another in a storage area between the front wall and the divider upper portions of at least two of a first group of substantially cylindrical articles. The divider can include a divider free edge that is structured to support and retain obliquely and spaced away from one another in a storage area between the divider and the rear wall upper portions of at least two of a second group of substantially cylindrical articles.

A chest freezer includes a plurality of insulated walls forming a compartment that includes an upwardly facing opening. A door is configured to selectively provide access to the compartment through the upwardly facing opening. A breaker strip forms at least a portion of an upper periphery of the compartment. A channel is formed in at least a portion of the breaker strip. The channel is configured to permit attachment of a storage container thereto. A cantilevered storage container for a chest freezer is also provided.

A refrigerator may include an insulated cabinet configured to preserve food, an insulated door mounted on the insulated cabinet, the insulated door being configured to close the insulated cabinet, the insulated door including an inner wall, the inner wall including one or more recesses, and an article dispenser including a dispensing portion and a mounting portion on a back side of the dispensing portion, the mounting portion being configured to removably mount the dispensing portion within the recesses, the dispensing portion being configured to store one or more articles and dispense the articles according to a user's demand.
