A differential pressure transducer with overload protection includes a measuring element body, two separating diaphragms, two overload diaphragms with radially variable material thickness h(r), a differential pressure transducer for converting a pressure difference into an electrical signal, and two hydraulic paths. The overload diaphragms are connected to the measuring element body to form overload chambers and the separating diaphragms are connected to the measuring element body to form separating diaphragm chambers in which one of the overload diaphragms are enclosed. The separating diaphragm chambers are hydraulically connected to the overload chambers below the other separating diaphragm chamber and to the differential pressure transducer via one of the hydraulic paths, which extend at least in sections through the measuring element body. The overload diaphragms have a base surface, which faces a mating surface in an overload chamber against which the overload diaphragms are pre-stressed in the operative state at pressure equilibrium.

Differential pressure measuring sensor with overload protection

A differential pressure sensor for determining the differential pressure between two pressures includes a converter chamber including a differential pressure measuring cell, and a measuring unit including a main body and a coplanar double-membrane system with two double membranes, each including a separating membrane and an overload membrane with a pressure chamber between the separating membrane and the overload membrane and an additional pressure chamber between the overload membrane and the main body. Each pressure chamber and each additional pressure chamber is paired with at least one capillary connection such that in the event of an overpressure, the overpressure is hydraulically transmitted from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side via a hydraulic fluid such that the overload membrane and the separating membrane are deflected, and the hydraulic fluid displaced from the high-pressure side to the additional pressure chamber on the low-pressure side before the overpressure reaches the pressure-sensitive element.

Differential pressure sensor for determining the differential pressure between two pressures

Disclosed is an apparatus for determining a process variable of a medium in a containment, comprising a first oscillatory element and a second oscillatory element, a first driving/receiving unit and a second driving/receiving unit, and an electronics, wherein the first driving/receiving unit is embodied to excite the first oscillatory element by means of a first electrical excitation signal to execute mechanical oscillations, and to receive the mechanical oscillations of the first oscillatory element and to convert such into a first electrical, received signal, wherein the second driving/receiving unit is embodied to excite the second oscillatory element by means of a second electrical excitation signal to execute mechanical oscillations, and to receive the mechanical oscillations of the second oscillatory element and to convert such into a second electrical, received signal, and wherein the electronics is embodied to determine the process variable from the first received signal and/or the second received signal.

Pressure difference sensor for providing a pressure measurement signal

An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable of a medium in a container comprising an oscillatable unit for introduction into the container; a housing, wherein the oscillatable unit is connected with the housing such that the oscillatable unit closes the housing terminally; at least one hollow space in the oscillatable unit which is accessible from an inner space formed by the housing; and a driving/receiving unit for exciting the oscillatable unit to execute mechanical oscillations and for receiving the mechanical oscillations and for transducing them into an electrical, received signal. A method for manufacture of at least one component of a field device for determining or monitoring a process variable, wherein the field device is applied in automation technology and is manufactured from at least one material. Method for manufacture of at least one component of a field device

A fill-level measuring device having an oscillatory system, which has at least one external, tubular, oscillatory element and an inner oscillatory element. The outer oscillatory element at least sectionally coaxially surrounds the inner oscillatory element. In an inner space of the inner oscillatory element, a compensation apparatus shiftable in the axial direction and having at least a first locking element, a second locking element and a coupling element is arranged. The locking elements and the coupling element are composed of piezoelectric material, wherein the coupling element, the first locking element and the second locking element are connected with one another, and wherein the first locking element and the second locking element in a resting state are each connected by force interlocking, e.g. friction interlocking, with a wall of the inner space, and the fill-level measuring device has an electronics unit, which is embodied to position the compensation apparatus at a predeterminable position by means of electrical signals.

An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable of a medium, comprising: an oscillatable unit, which has a membrane and at least one oscillatable element, wherein the oscillatable element is secured to the membrane at least in a first securement region and in a second securement region. At least one driving/receiving unit, which excites the oscillatable unit to execute mechanical oscillations and which produces a received signal dependent on the oscillations of the oscillatable unit; and a control/evaluation unit, which evaluates the received signal with reference to the process variable. The apparatus is distinguished by features including that the driving/receiving unit is embodied in such a manner and arranged on a rear face of the membrane facing away from the oscillatable element that the oscillatable element executes torsional oscillations.
