A fluid transfer connector or adapter for coupling a container or pharmacy bottle for facilitating the transfer of fluid or medicine from the bottle to a syringe, or from the syringe to the bottle. Optionally, an additional connector can be provided for coupling the fluid transfer connector to the syringe.

Fluid transfer connector

A syringe pump system for delivering controlled delivery of fluids from a syringe. The syringe pump system includes a keyed coupling and a motorized syringe pump. The keyed coupling includes an identifiable key piece that identifies which application or area of therapy is desired. The syringe pump includes a pump housing, a sliding key bed for receiving and reading the identifiable key piece of the keyed coupling, and a plunger actuator for actuating a plunger of the syringe. An internal software may be used to determine the correct drug or nutritional libraries and syringe specifications preprogrammed into the pump.

Syringe infusion pump

A hub component for a vented connector including a generally elongate cylindrical body having a first end and a second end. The first end of the hub component includes one or more fingers or clips for engagement with one or more vents of the vented connector. The second end of the hub component can be configured for compatible engagement with a carbon dioxide detector.

A connector for medical fluid vessels includes a fluid-seal fitting such as a male plug defining a lumen and mating with a cooperating connector, a mechanical fastener such as a screw thread for mating with the cooperating connector, and an outer housing positioned around the plug to form an annular space. A cap can be provided with a fluid-seal fitting such as a male plug for mating with the lumen of the connector. In example embodiments, the male plug is tapered and can comprise one or more projections for sealingly engaging with the lumen of the connector. According to some example embodiments, the cap can be tethered to the connector.

An enteral dosing control coupling comprising a cylindrical collar defining a hollow internal chamber and a lumen extension tip projecting axially into the internal chamber, the lumen extension tip defining an internal lumen extending through the lumen extension tip. In example forms, the lumen extension tip is integrally formed with the cylindrical collar. In other example forms, the lumen extension tip is a separate piece and is removably engageable within the cylindrical collar.

Dosing control coupling for enteral fluid transfer

A fluid transfer connector or adapter for coupling to a container or pharmacy bottle for facilitating the transfer of fluid or medicine from the bottle to a syringe, or from the syringe to the bottle. Optionally, an additional connector can be provided for coupling the fluid transfer connector to the syringe.

An enteral feeding connector, coupling or syringe tip configured for compatibility with blenderized feeding applications. The connector, coupling or syringe tip has a minimum internal bore dimension greater than the standard ENFit coupling specifications, to provide improved delivery of blenderized food.

Large bore enteral connector

A connector for medical fluid vessels includes a fluid-seal fitting such as a male plug defining a lumen and mating with a cooperating connector, a mechanical fastener such as a screw thread for mating with the cooperating connector, and an outer housing positioned around the plug to form an annular space. Optionally, a cap can be provided with a fluid-seal fitting such as a male plug for mating with the lumen of the connector. The connector includes one or more vent openings for drainage and air-drying of any residual fluid in the annular space when capped, as well as for breaking a vacuum to prevent fluid backflow and thus ensure more accurate dosing. In some embodiments, the vent openings are provided in the outer housing. And in some embodiments, the vent openings are provided in the cap.

Vented connector for medical fluid vessels

A plunger for movably mounting within a cavity or barrel of a syringe. The plunger includes a contact face having a flange movably mounted thereto, wherein the flange is movable between an open configuration wherein an opening is formed between the flange and a portion of the plunger, the opening configured for engagement with an IV hook or other engagement member, and a closed configuration wherein the upper surfaces of the contact face and the flange are generally planar with one another.

Fluid transfer couplings or connectors including dual function press-in bottle adaptors supporting different syringe types, connectors having a universal port for supporting different syringe types, transfer couplings compatible for use with different syringe types. Other caps and closures incorporating couplings for fluid transfer with different syringe types is also disclosed.

Fluid transfer couplings

A plunger gasket with reduced surface contact area including a body, a first side defining a first side surface, a second side defining a second side surface, and at least one surface feature projecting outwardly from at least one of the first or second side surfaces. In example embodiments, at least one surface feature projects outwardly from both the first and second side surfaces. By reducing the surface areas of contact between gaskets during manufacture and processing, the incidence of unintentional cohesion may be reduced or eliminated.

A container for collecting, transporting, storing, delivering and dispensing fluid. The container has a hollow tube with an outer circumference diameter and is configured to receive a plunger. A collection adaptor and a dispensing adaptor provide interchangeable coupling of a variable volume container such as a syringe with a collection device such as a breast pump and a dispensing device such as a nipple. The container also has a circumferential seal assembly secured at one end of the hollow tube. The seal assembly outer diameter is substantially similar to the hollow tube outer diameter.

Female enteral coupling

A tip cap including a central body extending between a first end and a second end. The first end includes a syringe coupling and the second end can include a projection or pivot. In example embodiments, axial engagement of an end connector of a syringe with the syringe coupling self-connects the tip cap with the end connector of the syringe while rotating about the pivot. According to example embodiments, a flange extends outwardly from the central body to define a width or side-to-side dimension. In example embodiments, the minimum side-to-side dimension is about 1.25 inches.

Syringe tip cap

An ISO 80369-3 compatible coupling having at least one vent, recessed groove, non-cylindrical geometry and/or textured surface formed therewith. According to one example embodiment, a vent can be formed on a male coupling and/or a female coupling. The vent can be in the form of recessed channel. According to one example embodiment, the coupling comprises non-cylindrical geometry such that at least one vent is provided.
