The disclosure herein describes generating, managing, and finalizing group reservations of travel resources (e.g., plane tickets, hotel and other lodging reservations, etc.) via a group reservation system. A group reservation request is received including group member data and travel resource reservation data. The reservation data is transmitted to group members based on the group member data. Reservation feedback is then received from the group members. The reservation feedback includes an acceptance message or a rejection message for participation with the travel resource(s). A quantity of acceptance messages received in the reservation feedback is compared to a reservation threshold and, based on the comparison, the group reservation is finalized, wherein the finalized group reservation is associated with group members from whom an acceptance message was received. The described system provides an automated management system for simultaneously organizing and managing reservations for multiple members of a group.

Generating and managing group reservations of travel resources

Embodiments of the disclosure enable a computing system to enhance one or more financial transactions. The computing system identifies a cardholder account used to enter into a financial transaction, identifies a merchant and/or a primary product associated with the financial transaction, analyzes cardholder data associated with the cardholder account and account data associated with the merchant and/or the primary product to determine a secondary product, generate presentation data for presenting product information associated with the secondary product, and receive selection data associated with the secondary product such that the financial transaction is enhanced with the secondary product. Aspects of the disclosure provide for enhancing the financial transaction with a secondary product tailored to the cardholder, provided or promoted by the merchant, and/or useable with the primary product in a constructive, complementary, and/or effective manner.

System and method for enhancing financial transactions at a point-of-sale

The subject invention advantageously allows a merchant to provide an override payment option, as an enticement, to pre-pay all or a portion of a series of recurring payments. With respect to recurring payments, the subject invention allows a merchant to alter pricing, if necessary, and/or to charge beyond a fixed term, e.g., to maintain a subscription. The invention includes monitoring payment requests made on a recurring payment basis over a payment network to ensure that any override payment is being properly accounted for along with any adjusted pricing and/or additional payments. This unconventional processing is not provided for with standard recurring payment systems.

System and method for managing recurring payments over a payment network

Systems and methods are provided for offering loyalty rewards for transactions. One exemplary method includes associating, by a computing device, a merchant with a group of reward offerors, and associating, by the computing device, a consumer payment account with a group of reward offerees. The method also includes receiving, by the computing device, and advertising to the reward offerees, a reward offer from the merchant; receiving a transaction associated with the merchant and with the consumer payment account, and identifying, in a data structure, the merchant as a member of the group of reward offerors and the consumer payment account as associated with the group of reward offerees. The method then further includes, based on the advertised reward offer and on the identified merchant, updating, by the computing device, a loyalty reward account associated with the consumer payment account.
