Implementations of a method of calculating a county-level consumption of natural gas may include providing county-level natural gas production data for a plurality of counties to a database from a data repository; removing from an analysis, using a processor, all areas of a first county of the plurality of counties that do not include a natural gas utility; and using the processor, the database, and the county-level natural gas production data, executing a regression with at least two geographical characteristics of the first county to determine a natural gas consumption within the first county. The method may also include using the processor, repeating for each county of the plurality of counties to determine the natural gas consumption for each of the plurality of counties.

Systems and methods for supply chain data processing and flow modeling

Implementations of a system for downscaling commodity flow data may include a first commodity flow database at a first level of geographic/temporal granularity, a second commodity flow database including commodity data for a plurality of commodities at a second level of geographic/temporal granularity and a group of high speed multiple core processor clusters where each core of may be assigned to process data associated with a commodity from the second commodity flow database and data of the first commodity flow database. The system may also include a downscaling module to generate downscaled and a quality check module to generate quality checked data; and a merging module configured for merging downscaled data and quality checked data in parallel. The system may also include a database module configured for writing data asynchronously according to a first-in first-out queue system in a commodity flow database within a period of hours.

Multicore data downscaling and routing visualization systems and related methods

Implementations of a method of modeling a flow of resources may include generating a stage resource database when the resources reach one or more stages from one or more supply nodes. The method may also include using a mass balance module to maintain an outflow less than or equal to a supply at the one or more supply nodes and an inflow greater than or equal to demand at the one or more stages. The method may include enforcing movement of resources to or from one or more supply nodes of the supply chain to the one or more stages. The method may include using a non-negativity constraint module to maintain a non-negative amount to be transported. The method may also include using a flow generation module and one or more constraint thresholds to report to a user the flow of the resources using one or more computer interfaces.

Systems and methods for modeling flow of resources in a supply chain

Various systems, methods and apparatuses for a rotary valve are disclosed. A rotary valve apparatus may have a case, a fluid conducting apparatus inside the case, and an electromagnetic actuator. The electromagnetic actuator may align the fluid conducting apparatus with various ports in the case. In this manner, fluid may be conducted through the ports. The electromagnetic actuator may rotate the fluid conducting apparatus to align with different ports in the case. Thus, the apparatus may operate as a valve, connecting and disconnecting various ports in response to the electromagnetic actuator.
