An apparatus for dispensing candy and simulating at least one candy making process. The apparatus has a chamber for storing real candies and a dispensing opening through which the candies are discharged. A dispensing mechanism is located between the chamber and the dispensing opening and adapted to periodically dispense pieces of candy. The apparatus includes at least one simulated candy processing station, such as a mixing station, a candy forming station, or a candy wrapping station. The dispensing mechanism and simulated candy processing station(s) are coupled to a drive assembly, such as a gear train, disposed within an apparatus housing. The drive mechanism simultaneously operates the dispensing mechanism and simulated station(s) when actuated, such as by a switch. The apparatus dispenses real candies while the simulated candy processing stations operate to create the appearance that the apparatus is actually making the candy.

A writing and display device for producing luminescent images upon application of pressure thereon which can be readily erased and repeatedly used having a protective layer to prevent damage to the writing surface thereof. The device includes a backing member with a smooth surface over which a translucent or transparent sheet containing a luminescent dye or pigment and an opaque pliable plastic sheet are disposed. At least one of the sheets is formed of a pliable plastic with its interface surface tending to adhere to the interfacing surface of the other sheet when a pressure is applied thereto to produce luminescent images. A pliable, transparent protective sheet is disposed adjacent to and coextensive with the translucent or transparent luminescent sheet. Upon application of pressure onto the protective sheet, which pressure is transmitted to the luminescent sheet by virtue of the pliability of the protective sheet, the interfacing surfaces adhere to each other to thereby produce a luminescent image.

An infant's inflatable play gym for use either as a crib toy or floor toy which includes a pair of opposed upright end supports for rotatably supporting therebetween an inflatable chamber. Within the inflatable chamber are a plurality of loosely disposed amusing playthings which are free to tumble within the inflatable chamber as the chamber is rotated. To impart a tumbling motion to the playthings within the inflatable chamber are a plurality of transversely extending vanes which are radially and circumferentially spaced therein. The chamber is also provided with a valve through which air may be pumped to inflate or to exhaust to deflate the chamber.

Inflatable play gym

A writing and display device for producing luminescent images upon application of pressure includes an opaque backing member which is coated to render the backing member with a smooth surface at least on one side thereof. The smooth surface of the backing member is laminated with a flexible plastic sheeting. A translucent or transparent sheet which contains a luminescent dye or pigment is disposed adjacent to and coextensive with the backing member. Upon application of pressure onto the sheet, the interfacing surfaces adhere to each other to thereby produce a luminescent image.

Luminescent writing and display device

A display or writing slate capable of producing luminescent images upon the application of pressure thereon which can be readily erased and repeatedly used that includes a pair of over-lying sheets, one of which is translucent or transparent, containing a luminescent dye or pigment and the other of which is opaque, and which sheets have a smooth surface at their interface. At least one of the sheets is formed of a pliable plastic with its interface surface tending to adhere to the interfacing surface of the other sheet when a pressure is applied thereto to produce the luminescent images. The improvement resides in the incorporation of a non-migrating dye or pigment in the translucent or transparent sheet so as to resist the migration of the luminescent dye or pigment from the translucent or transparent sheet to the interface surface of the other sheet.

Luminescent writing or display device

An irridescent or luminescent drawing or sketching device that has a housing having a window therein, in which there is disposed a generally transparent imaging plate having an irridescent dye and disposed above an opaque pliable plastic sheet. Application of pressure will cause the opaque sheet to adhere to the imaging sheet at the points of applied pressure, causing an irridescent or luminescent image to appear at the imaging surface. Pressure is applied by a courser which is confined within intersecting slots of a pair of crossing courser arms whereby the movement of the individual courser arms along an X and Y axis causes the courser to translate accordingly. Included is an eraser disposed between the opaque sheet and imaging sheet to effect separation thereof to erase any image formed on the imaging sheet.

Irridescent drawing or sketching device

An animated novelty device which is shaped in the form of an animated creature having a flexible body portion and a head portion having eyes. The eyes include a light source connected in a circuit which is operatively associated with a sound producing device which is located within the body portion of the animated device. The arrangement is such that when a force or pressure is applied to the body portion of the device, a sound or voice associated with the animated creature is sounded and simultaneously therewith the eyes light up.

A child's toy for forming bubbles is illustrated as comprising a tricycle mounting a reservoir for holding a bubble forming liquid, a front wheel actuated dip-arm having a film support and movable between a first position in which the film support dips into the reservoir liquid and a second position above the reservoir and an electrically operated fan for forcing air through the film to form bubbles.

Rotatable toy assembly

A toy having an eye construction which is formed as a sealed container having a supply of a fluid medium confined within the container and having a plurality of particles suspended or dispersed throughout the fluid medium so that said particles move in the fluid medium as the toy is shaken or moved by the child to lend a pleasing effect to the toy. The container is provided with simulated eye protrusions arranged to align with the eye opening in a toy's head, and the container is secured within the toy's head adjacent to the eye opening therein.

Toy eye construction

An action game for two or more players has a plurality of player stations, always arranged in pairs. Each pair of player stations is associated with a tiltable rocker or perch on which a figure, such as a sitting duck, is placed. Each player station also has an air bulb; when punched (compressed) this bulb causes a plunger to be flung against the perch. The plunger activated by the faster of the players will hit the perch first, causing it to tilt in direction toward that player's bulb and to fling the figure off the perch in this direction. The player able to score the greatest number of hits within a given number of tries, or within a specified period, is the winner.
