A portable carrying apparatus comprises a plurality of segments that mateably couple together to form an elongated carrying apparatus. Each of the plurality of segments may be selectively de-coupled from each other to enable a user to break down the apparatus and stack each segment for storage when not in use. In accordance with certain aspects of the present disclosure, the apparatus may have a first end (e.g., a proximal end) and a second end (e.g., a distal end) that are configured to receive/carry one or more cargo loads (e.g., a connected hook, strap, bag handle and the like). A user of the apparatus may selectively attach one or more cargo loads to the first end and/or second end of the apparatus and balance the apparatus on one or both of the user's shoulders to carry/transport the one or more cargo loads more easily to and from a desired destination.

Portable load distributing carrying apparatus

A portable carrying apparatus configured to selectively attach a cargo load to one or more attachment points and enable a user to balance and carry the attached cargo load on one or both of the user's shoulders. A portable carrying apparatus of the present disclosure may include an elongated body comprising a first plurality of receiving portions disposed on a first arm portion and a second plurality of receiving portions disposed on a second arm portion. One or more attachment connectors may be selective interfaced with the first plurality of receiving portions. A user may selectively attach one or more cargo loads to the one or more attachment connectors in order to carry the cargo loads on the shoulder(s) of the user via the portable carrying apparatus.

A power tool coupling system for coupling two boom members of a split-boom power tool. The coupling system includes a first section and a second section. The first section is adapted to be fixedly attached to an end of a first one of the boom members. The first section includes an aperture for receiving a locating member on a second one of the boom members. The second section is movably connected to the first section. The second section is adapted to depress the locating member, while the locating member is located in the aperture of the first section, when the second section is moved from a first to a second position.

A power tool including a main section and a handle section. The main section includes an internal combustion engine and a housing at least partially surrounding the engine. The engine includes a cylinder, a spark plug, and a muffler. The handle shaft extending from the main section. The shaft forms a handle for the power tool and houses a drive shaft from the engine therein. The housing forms a cover section over a transmission assembly between the engine and the drive shaft. The cover section includes a scroll form to channel air flow pushed by the transmission assembly. The housing further comprises a spark plug boot to substantially prevent air from exiting the housing at the spark plug.
