A device determines a network attribute associated with a first network, transmits, to an orchestration device associated with a second network, information that identifies the network attribute, and receives, from the orchestration device, control information that specifies a routing policy, a security policy, or a load balancing policy associated with the first network. The device provisions network devices associated with the first network, based on the control information, and provides packets, associated with a traffic flow, to a network device, based on the control information.

Software-defined networking gateway

A system is provided that can include one or more devices to: identify an event that has a predefined start time and end time, determine that a particular amount of bandwidth is needed for the event, and generate a notification that identifies the particular amount of bandwidth and the predefined start time and end time for the event, where the particular amount of bandwidth is reserved on a channel for the predefined start time and end time, for the event, in response to the notification.

Wireless multicast/broadcast integration with content management system

A system is configured to receive a request for a customization packet associated with a user device; retrieve data associated with the device; encode portions of the network data using a group of keys, wherein each portion is encoded using a different one of the keys, and wherein each key corresponds to a different set of fields, of one or more sets of fields within the packet; store the encoded portions in the one or more sets of fields within the packet; and transmit, to a content provider, the packet, wherein the packet enables the content provider to decode all or a portion of the network data using one of the keys, and wherein all or the portion of the decoded network data enables the content provider to generate customized content for the device.

A method including receiving a session request to establish a network connection with a network; sending a session response to establish the network connection with the network; obtaining, by a traffic steering system, user profile information associated with a user sending the session request; and routing the network connection to a requested user destination via the traffic steering system based on the user profile information, wherein the user profile information includes user-specific preferences.

Traffic steering system

A generic interface may be provided for parameters relating to one or more wireless networks. In one implementation, a method may include monitoring parameters relating to a 3G wireless network and a 4G wireless network. The method may also include receiving a request, from a network element, to create a custom interface for the parameters relating to the 3G wireless network and the 4G wireless network, the request including an indication of a subset of the parameters that are to be included in the custom interface. The method may further include providing the custom interface to the network element in order to provide the subset of the parameters to the network element.

Generic interface for wireless cellular networks

A method includes receiving primary content, wherein the primary content includes a video program. The method also includes identifying attributes of the primary content, identifying secondary content based on the identified attributes of the primary content, and indexing the primary content to the secondary content. The method also includes identifying a primary user device associated with the primary content and an associated secondary user device. A request for secondary content may be received from the secondary user device. The method further includes providing the secondary content at the secondary user device synchronized with receipt of the primary content at the primary user device.

Secondary content

A device receives network infrastructure requirements, and determines availabilities of network resources based on the network infrastructure requirements. The device recommends one or more of the network resources based on the availabilities of the network resources, and receives selection of particular network resources from the recommended one or more network resources. The device also connects the particular network resources to create a virtual network template, and verifies requirements for the particular network resources. The device further tests the virtual network template, and deploys the virtual network template via the particular network resources when the testing of the virtual network template is successful.

Elastic cloud networking

A server may be configured to: receive a network selection query, associated with a user device. The network selection query may include information relating to a geographic location of the user device. The server may also select, based on information included in the network selection query, a virtual network element that services the geographic location of the user device and functions as a physical network element of an evolved packet core (EPC) network or an internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network. The server may also enable use of the selected virtual network element by the user device; receive a data packet destined for the selected virtual network element; provide the data packet to the selected virtual network element; and prevent the data packet from being sent to a non-selected virtual network element.

Selection of virtual network elements

A device receives network infrastructure requirements from a user, and selects, based on the network infrastructure requirements, at least one of a virtual core network, a virtual network resource, and a virtual system from resources provided in a cloud computing environment. The device also enables use of the selected at least one of the virtual core network, the virtual network resource, and the virtual system by the user. The device receives, from the user, traffic destined for the selected at least one of the virtual core network, the virtual network resource, and the virtual system, and provides the traffic to the selected at least one of the virtual core network, the virtual network resource, and the virtual system.

Providing overlay networks via elastic cloud networking

A system, associated with a service provider network, is configured to monitor traffic being transported via one or more cells, within a radio access network (RAN), that serve a group user devices; obtain traffic information, associated with a cell, based on the traffic monitoring, where the traffic information includes information associated with each of the user devices, a quantity of bandwidth that corresponds to traffic flows within the cell, or one or more traffic types being served by the cell; determine that a condition exists within the cell when the quantity of bandwidth is greater than a bandwidth threshold associated with the cell; and transmit a notification that indicates that the condition exists, where the notification enables an operation to be performed on all or a portion of the traffic flows, based on a particular traffic type, to remedy the condition.

Identifying and forecasting network conditions using real-time radio access network (RAN) modeling

A first server is configured to receive performance data associated with a first virtual machine. The first virtual machine may be capable of communicating with a client device. The first server is further configured to determine whether the first virtual machine is overloaded based on the performance data, and send an instruction to a second server to generate a second virtual machine based on determining that the first virtual machine is overloaded. The second virtual machine may be capable of communicating with the client device. The first server is further configured to instruct the second virtual machine to communicate with the client device to reduce network load associated with the first virtual machine.

Virtual container for network systems

A first server may: receive information regarding a user device from a second server; store the information regarding the user device to form device data; determine one or more connection durations based on the device data, each one of the one or more connection durations relating to a time duration in which the user device connects to one of the one or more network devices; receive, from the second server, performance data associated with each one of the one or more network devices; receive, from a client device, a query including a request for a performance indicator of the user device; generate the performance indicator based on the performance data and based on the one or more connection durations corresponding to the each one of the one or more network devices; and provide the performance indicator to the client device based on receiving the query.

Device network footprint map and performance

A system, associated with a service provider network, is configured to monitor traffic, that is traveling to or from the service provider network, to obtain traffic metrics that correspond to a collection of network layers, where the network layers; process the traffic metrics with respect to each of the network layers to identify an anomaly, associated with the traffic, that corresponds to at least one of the network layers; send a request for packets associated with the traffic based on the identification of the anomaly; receive copies of the packets associated with the traffic; analyze the copies of the packets to obtain information associated with the anomaly; and send a notification that indicates that the anomaly has been identified, where the notification includes the traffic metrics associated with the traffic or the information associated with the anomaly.

Anomaly detection and identification using traffic steering and real-time analytics

A first server is configured to receive data associated with a first user device. The first user device may send the data to the first server via a network device without user interaction, and the data may relate to activity associated with the first user device. The first server is further configured to determine a status, associated with the first user device, based on the data, store information regarding the status, receive permissions for the information regarding the status of the first user device, apply the permissions for the information regarding the status to form an advertised status, and send the advertised status to the network device. The network device may be capable of sending the advertised status to a client device or a second user device based on the permissions.

Determining presence status based on user analytics data

A system is configured to receive an alert status, associated with a first user device, based on the first user device connecting with a mobile alert device, where the alert status is associated with an instruction to prevent calls from being sent to the first user device, and where the alert status indicates that a user, associated with the first user device, is operating a vehicle. The system is configured to receive a call instruction from a second user device, where the call instruction includes an instruction to place a call from the second user device to the first user device. The system is further configured to send the alert status to the second user device, based on receiving the alert status and the call instruction.
