Blockchain-based technologies to facilitate traceability of products through their lifecycle, including design, development, manufacturing, supply chain, and use. The system provides transparent, secure traceability through product lifecycle, drawing insights from collected data and post-market activities. For example, the system could receive tracking data from a plurality of tracking sources along a product's lifecycle and generate one or more blocks in a blockchain to capture the tracking data from the plurality of tracking sources along the product's lifecycle in one or more distributed ledgers.

Patient-specific humeral guide designs

A humeral cut guide system for a humeral head comprises: a bone-engagement member including a first patient-specific bone-engagement surface that is complementary and made to substantially mate and nest in only one position on a specific patient's humeral head; a registration member connected to the bone-engagement member including a second patient-specific bone engagement surface that is sized and made to substantially mate and nest in only one position with the specific patient's bicipital groove; a first protrusion extending from the registration member and having a first surgeon-engaging surface for manipulation by a surgeon; and a cut guide plate connected to and extending away from the registration member such that, upon the bone-engagement member mating and nesting with the specific patient's humeral head, the cut guide plate is spaced apart from the humeral head, wherein the cut guide plate defines an elongate slot.

A glenoid implant can include a body, a first fixation member, a second fixation member, and a third fixation member. The body can include an articular surface and a scapula-engaging surface opposite from the articular surface. The first, second and third fixation members can extend from the scapula-engaging surface. The third fixation member can include a porous titanium material and be disposed between the first and second fixation members, such that the first, second and third fixation members define a substantially linear configuration.

The present teachings provide a modular glenoid prosthesis for replacing a portion of the anatomy. The prosthesis can comprise a platform having a coupling portion, a base and a central bore that extends from the coupling portion through the base. The central bore can define a tapered region, and the coupling portion can include a plurality of bores. The prosthesis can include a glenoid component having a plurality of pegs. Each of the plurality of pegs can be coupled to a respective one of the plurality of bores. The prosthesis can include a glenosphere including a tapered stem couplable to the tapered region. The glenoid component and the glenosphere are selectively couplable to the platform for replacing the portion of the anatomy.

Method of using a modular glenoid prosthesis

The present teachings provide a modular glenoid prosthesis for replacing a portion of the anatomy. The prosthesis can comprise a platform having a coupling portion, a base and a central bore that extends from the coupling portion through the base. The central bore can define a tapered region, and the coupling portion can include a plurality of bores and a groove coupling feature. The prosthesis can include a glenoid component having a plurality of pegs. Each of the plurality of pegs in combination with at least one tab, the tab configured to engage the groove coupling feature of the platform can be coupled to a respective one of the plurality of bores. The prosthesis can include a glenosphere including a tapered stem couplable to the tapered region. The glenoid component and the glenosphere are selectively couplable to the platform for replacing the portion of the anatomy.
