Techniques described herein relate to a method for managing user device users. The method includes, in response to obtaining a subuser account creation request: obtaining subuser arguments from a user of a user device specifying: a folder of a user file system, and a subuser; generating a subuser account for the subuser and setting subuser permissions based on the subuser arguments; generating a snapshot of the folder; updating a version control directory in the folder with the snapshot; removing the version control directory from the folder; associating user configuration files to the subuser account; and initiating subuser access of the folder based on the subuser permissions and the user configuration files, wherein the subuser is allowed to make modifications to at least one file included in the folder using the subuser account.

Method and system for creating and removing a temporary subuser of a computing device

A method for generating one or more quantum circuits to be evaluated by one or more QPUs is disclosed. The method includes obtaining a problem to be solved using one or more QPUs and analyzing the problem for reductions in complexity to obtain a reduced problem. One or more quantum algorithms are generated to implement a potential solution to the reduced problem, and the quantum algorithms are translated into one or more quantum circuits. The method further includes transmitting the one or more quantum circuits to the one or more QPUs.

Intelligent quantum circuit generation

Techniques are provided for automated sharing of remote devices by multiple users using a file system. One method comprises maintaining public keys for source devices associated with users; configuring a primary target device to provide a file system that comprises: (i) a user-specific directory for each of the users, and (ii) a global directory accessible by the users, wherein the user-specific directory for a given user comprises the public key for the source devices associated with the given user; and configuring a secondary target device to provide a copy of the file system, wherein updates to the file system are provided to the secondary target device, and wherein the given user accesses the primary and/or the secondary target device, using a particular source device, based on an evaluation of the public key for the particular source device obtained from the user-specific directory for the given user.

Automated sharing of remote devices by multiple users using a file system

Quality control operations for quantum processing units are disclosed. A broker application may perform quality control jobs to determine baseline characteristics about quantum processing units. The characteristics of user-submitted jobs can be compared to the baseline characteristics associated with the quality control jobs. This allows the broker to generate a confidence score that reflects at least whether the user-submitted job was performed on the quantum processing unit expected by the user.

Quality control system for quantum-as-a-service brokers

A file recovery method executed by a storage device among a plurality of storage devices is provided. The file recovery method includes: detecting that the storage device is compromised and deleting file slices and an original encryption key from the storage of the storage device; after the deleting, generating a new encryption key different from the original encryption key; and instantiating a file recovery method to obtain the previously stored file slices on the compromised storage device from other non-compromised storage devices and to distribute new file slices encrypted using the new encryption key to non-compromised storage devices storing file slices encrypted using the old encryption key of the comprised storage device.
