A method of conserving operating data of a vehicle, the method including the steps of collecting the operating data and recording it progressively on board the vehicle, detecting an event, as from a detection, transmitting to at least one external receiver firstly at least some of the data that is being collected and as it is being collected, and secondly at least some of the stored data in a chronological order that is the reverse of the order in which it was recorded, and recording the data received by said external receiver. A conservation system for implementing the method is also provided.

Method and system for conserving operating data of a vehicle

A bidirectional gateway with enhanced security level between a high-security communication network and a low-security communication network. The return pathway from the low-security network to the high-security network comprises a low-speed link. The physical layer of the low-speed link differs from the physical layers involved in the high-security network and the low-security network. The low-speed link having a linking layer according to a protocol differing from the protocols used on the linking layers used on the high-security network and the low-security network. The linking layer of the low-speed link has an authentication protocol to guarantee the data's origin.

Bidirectional gateway with enhanced security level

A method of exchanging information by the Internet protocol in the form of datagrams each including a TOS field normally dedicated to receiving routing parameters. The method includes configuring network equipment to define an identification zone in the TOS field and associating equipment of a first type with identifiers that can be encoded in said identification zone. When a piece of equipment of the first type sends a datagram to a piece of equipment of the second type, the identifier of the piece of equipment of the first type in question is encoded in the identification zone. When the datagram is received by the equipment of the second type, it is first checked that the identifier appears in a table of authorized identifiers prior to accepting the datagram.

Method of exchanging information under IP protocol with data substitution in the TOS field

A method of exchanging information between a first network implementing a routing protocol using static routing tables and a second network implementing a routing protocol using dynamic routing tables and including stages of exchanging identification messages and of exchanging routing table update messages, the method comprising the steps of: a first routing element associated with the first network issuing to a second routing element associated with the second network identification messages containing identifiers of network elements to which the first routing element knows it is connected either directly or indirectly, and in the second routing element updating the routing table from the identification messages coming from the first routing element.
