A header system is provided. The headers system includes a conveyor belt and a belt roller assembly comprising a belt roller configured to contact the conveyor belt and to rotate about an axis during movement of the conveyor belt. The header system further includes a belt roller assembly mount configured to secure the belt roller on the header system, wherein the belt roller mount assembly comprises a first mounting member configured to secure the belt roller to an infeed deck frame included in the header system.

A header of a harvester includes a cutter bar assembly, a side deck, and an airbag. The side deck includes a conveyor and an arm assembly. The cutter bar assembly is configured to cut crops, and the conveyor is configured to transport the crops cut by the cutter bar assembly toward a center of the header. The arm assembly is coupled to the cutter bar assembly and to the at least one airbag. The arm assembly is configured to pivot to enable the cutter bar assembly to flex along a lateral axis of the header. The airbag is configured to apply a substantially constant force to the at least one arm assembly.

An agricultural header includes a frame and a mount having a mount opening. The agricultural header also includes an arm configured to rotate about a pivot axis relative to the frame and to support a cutter bar assembly of the agricultural header. In addition, the agricultural header includes a pin coupled to a first element and extending through the mount opening. The first element includes one of the arm and the frame. The agricultural header also includes a fastener configured to non-movably couple the mount to a second element while the fastener is in a locked state and to enable the mount to move relative to the second element while the fastener is in an unlocked state. The second element includes the other of the arm and the frame.

System and method for aligning arms of an agricultural header

A reel assembly of an agricultural header includes a first arm configured to support a reel of the reel assembly and a first pivot joint configured to pivotally couple the first arm to a frame of the agricultural header. The first pivot joint is configured to enable the first arm to pivot about a first local lateral axis of the agricultural header and about a longitudinal axis of the agricultural header relative to the frame. In addition, the reel assembly includes a second arm configured to support the reel and a second pivot joint configured to pivotally couple the second arm to the frame. The second pivot joint is configured to enable the second arm to pivot about a second local lateral axis of the agricultural header relative to the frame and to substantially block pivoting of the second arm about the longitudinal axis relative to the frame.

A header of an agricultural harvester is provided. The header includes a frame having a centerline defining a first side and a second side of the frame. A first portion of either the first side or the second side of the frame has a first trapezoidal profile that includes a first pair of legs that run along a longitudinal axis of the frame and a first pair of bases that form a height of the frame. The first pair of legs include a first top leg and a first bottom leg, and the first bottom leg is angled toward the longitudinal axis.

A locking mechanism includes a pin configured to movably couple to a first element of an agricultural header, wherein the first element includes one of an arm and a frame. The locking mechanism also includes a mount configured to couple to a second element of the agricultural header, wherein the second element includes the other of the arm and the frame. The pin is disposed within an opening of the mount, the opening has a first portion configured to receive the pin while the pin is in a first position and to block relative movement between the pin and the mount to block rotation of the arm, and the opening has a second portion configured to receive the pin while the pin is in a second position and to enable relative movement between the pin and the mount to enable rotation of the arm.

A clean out system of a header for an agricultural vehicle. The header includes a frame with a floor having at least one cutout for allowing an unwanted material to pass therethrough. The clean out system includes at least one door configured for pivotally connecting to the floor and selectively engaging with the at least one cutout, a latching mechanism connected to the at least one door and configured for securing the at least one door to the frame, and at least one actuating member operably connected to the at least one door and configured for selectively latching the latching mechanism and pivoting the at least one door in between an open position and a closed position.

The header frame includes a rigid portion, a first conformable portion flexibly coupled to the rigid portion by a first resilient material that allows at least about 1.5&#xb0; of reversible deflection, and a second conformable portion flexibly coupled to the rigid portion by a second resilient material that allows at least about 1.5&#xb0; of reversible deflection.

The at least one actuating member is configured for moving the at least one cover between a first position to completely cover at least one cutout of the frame of the header for blocking the unwanted material from exiting the header, a second position to at least partially uncover the at least one cutout for permitting the unwanted material to pass through the at least one cutout, and a third position to align at least one perforation of the plurality of perforations with the at least one cutout for permitting the unwanted material to pass through the at least one cutout and the at least one perforation of the plurality of perforations.

A cleaning system of a header for an agricultural vehicle. The header includes a frame with a floor having at least one cutout therein. The cleaning system includes at least one door, an elongated member operably connected to the at least one door, and at least one actuator connected to the elongated member. The elongated member is rotatable by the at least one actuator to slide the at least one door between a first position for covering the at least one cutout and a second position for at least partially uncovering the at least one cutout and allowing an unwanted material to pass through the at least one cutout.

A header for an agricultural vehicle includes: a header frame; a flexible cutter supported by the header frame and including a plurality of cutting edges; a reel including a plurality of reel sections movably supported by the header frame, each of the reel sections including a plurality of tines and being independently movable from the other reel sections; and at least one rigid link connecting the flexible cutter to one of the reel sections, the at least one rigid link being configured to transmit flexing forces acting on the flexible cutter to the connected one reel section such that a substantially constant separation is maintained between the flexible cutter and the connected one reel section.

A crop ramp for use in a combine header is provided. The crop ramp includes a flat section, a curved section, and a flange. The flat section facilitates coupling the crop ramp to a cutterbar of the combine header. The curved section extends from the flat section. The curved section is configured to facilitate transfer of crop to a belt system of the combine header. The crop is transferred in a first direction defined from the flat section to the curved section. The flange extends from the curved section. The flange is configured to hover above the belt system of the combine header to prevent dirt from flowing in a second direction which is opposite to the first direction.

The rod is configured to rotate in a first direction to a first orientation to engage the cam with the arm to block rotation of the arm relative to the frame, and the rod is configured to rotate in a second direction, opposite the first direction, to a second orientation to disengage the cam from the arm to enable rotation of the arm relative to the frame.

The support arm sub assembly includes a support member connected to the frame.

A header for a combine harvester includes a conveyor belt for conveying crop material in a conveyance direction, and an adjusting device for adjusting a tension of the conveyor belt. The adjusting device includes a cable that is movable with respect to a frame member of the header. A portion of the cable that is either directly or indirectly attached to one end of a roller for the conveyor belt extends either parallel to or substantially parallel to a tensioning direction of the conveyor belt for adjusting the tension of the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt may be an infeed conveyor belt or a lateral conveyor belt of a draper header, for example.
