A family of crystalline microporous metallophosphates designated AlPO-90 has been synthesized represented by the empirical formulaRMEPSiOwhere R is an organoammonium cation, M is a framework metal alkaline earth or transition metal of valence +2, and E is a trivalent framework element such as aluminum or gallium. The compositions are characterized by a new unique ABC-6 net structure, and have catalytic properties for various hydrocarbon conversion processes, and characteristics suitable for efficient adsorption of water vapor in a variety of applications, including adsorption heat pumps. A parameter data system comprising at least one processor; at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions; and at least one receiver configured to receive data of a parameter of a data of a parameter of at least one unit or stream in fluid communication with and downstream from or upstream to a conversion process comprising at least one reaction catalyzed by SAPO-90.

Crystalline metallophosphates, their method of preparation, and use

The subject invention is a novel UZM-63 material which comprises globular aggregates of crystallites having a DDR framework type with a mesopore volume of at least 0.025 cc/g, the nanocrystals having an average diameter of less than 60 nm. The novel UZM-63 material is useful for hydrocarbon conversion processes as well as separation applications, particularly the separation of olefins from paraffins.

Novel 1-oxa-4-azonium cyclohexane salts are described. These compounds can be used as structure directing agents, and they overcome many of the typical problems associated with OSDA synthesis and subsequent zeolite synthesis. Methods for synthesis of the 1-oxa-4-azonium cyclohexane salts from a variety of starting materials are also described. A substituted hydrocarbon is added to water to form a mixture, and a 1-oxa-4-azacyclohexane derivative is then added. The reaction mixture stirred until a solution containing the 1-oxa-4-azonium cyclohexane salt is obtained.

Zeolitic materials with modified surface composition, crystal structure, crystal or particle size, and/or porosity, methods for making the same, and methods for converting oxygenates to olefins using the same are provided herein. In an exemplary embodiment, a method for reducing a surface silicon content of a silicon-containing zeolitic material is provided that includes providing a silicon-containing zeolitic material; and contacting the silicon-containing zeolitic material with a modifying solution comprising one or more of an amine, an alcoholamine, and an amino acid. In this embodiment, the contacting occurs under conditions suitable for the modifying solution to reduce a surface silicon content, increase the porosity, and/or decrease an average crystal or particle size of the silicon-containing zeolitic material.

Coherently grown composites of two zeotypes are described. The coherently grown composites have a crystalline three-dimensional framework of at least AlOand POtetrahedral units. The two zeotypes are selected from the group consisting of AFX, LEV, CHA, and ERI. Methods of making the coherently grown composites are also described.

Coherently grown composite aluminophosphate and silicoaluminophosphate molecular sieves

A method for synthesizing an aluminophosphate based molecular sieve is described. The method may include the steps of: (a) preparing an aqueous mixture comprising water, a substituted hydrocarbon, and a 1-oxa-4-azacyclohexane derivative; (b) reacting the aqueous mixture; (c) obtaining a solution comprising an organo-1-oxa-4-azoniumcyclohexane compound; (d) forming a reaction mixture comprising reactive sources of Al, and P, and the solution; and (e) heating the reaction mixture to form the molecular sieve.
