The power source being configured to provide electrical power to the motor. A rotary tool attached to the main body. The rotary tool configured to be actuated by the motor. A first bit storage area disposed on the main body. The first bit storage area being configured to receive a first bit. A second bit storage area disposed on the main body. The second bit storage area being configured to receive a second bit.

A paint sprayer includes a frame, a motor supported by the frame, a pump operably coupled to the motor to draw paint from a paint source and pressurize the paint, and a blower supported by the frame and operable to discharge pressurized air into the pressurized paint discharged by the pump.

Paint sprayer

A chuck for use with a manual or powered driver having a rotatable drive shaft includes a generally cylindrical body having a nose section and a tail section. The tail section is configured to rotate with the drive shaft and the nose section has an axial bore formed therein. A plurality of jaws are movably disposed with respect to the body toward and away from the axial bore. Each jaw includes a back surface and a tool engaging surface opposite the back surface. The tool engaging surfaces are disposed facing generally parallel to the axis of the axial bore and a plurality of grinds are defined across each tool engaging surfaces to form a helical pattern on the tool engaging jaw surfaces when the tool engaging surfaces are disposed at a predetermined position with respect to the axis of the axial bore.

A tool driver includes a housing and a rotatable drive shaft extending therefrom. A chuck for holding the tool includes a generally cylindrical body having a nose section and a tail section. Each of a plurality of jaws is slidably positioned in one of a plurality of angularly disposed passageways in the body. Each jaw has a jaw face and threads formed thereon. A nut is in operative communication with the drive shall so that the drive shaft rotationally drives the nut. The nut threads engage the jaw threads so that rotation of the nut moves the jaws axially within the passageways. A sleeve is selectively actuatable to a first axial position and a second axial position. The sleeve defines a first slot that receives a detent mechanism in the first axial position and a second slot that receives the detent mechanism in the second axial position.

A tool driver includes a housing and a rotatable drive shaft extending therefrom. A chuck for holding the tool includes a generally cylindrical body having a nose section and a tail section. Each of a plurality of jaws is slidably positioned in one of a plurality of angularly disposed passageways in the body. Each jaw has a jaw face and threads formed thereon. A nut is in operative communication with the drive shaft so that the drive shaft rotationally drives the nut. The nut threads engage the jaw threads so that rotation of the nut moves the jaws axially within the passageways. A sleeve is selectively actuatable to a first axial position and a second axial position. The sleeve defines a first slot that receives a detent mechanism in the first axial position and a second slot that receives the detent mechanism in the second axial position.

A tool driver includes a housing and a rotatable drive shaft extending therefrom. A chuck for holding the tool includes a generally cylindrical body member having a nose section and a tail section. Each of a plurality of jaws is slidably positioned in one of a plurality of angularly disposed passageways in the body. Each jaw has a jaw face and threads formed thereon. A nut is in operative communication with the drive shaft so that the drive shaft rotationally drives the nut. The nut engages the jaw threads so that rotation of the nut moves the jaws axially within the passageways. A locking mechanism is mounted to at least one of the housing and the body and is selectively actuatable to a first operative position and a second operative position. In the first position, the locking mechanism rotationally locks the housing and the body with respect to each other. In the second, it permits relative rotation between the body and the housing.

Chuck for use with manual or powered driver having rotatable shaft, the chuck including a nosepiece configured to maintain a nut member in engagement with threads on jaws that are actuated by a nut and sleeve arrangement.

Nosepiece nut retainer chuck

A chuck for use with a manual or powered driver having a rotatable drive shaft is provided. A generally cylindrical body member has a nose section and a tail section. A plurality of jaws are disposed within the body longitudinally with respect to a nose section axial bore. A self-contained anti-friction bearing assembly is in communication with the body. The bearing assembly has an inner race, an outer race and bearing elements cooperating together. A nut is integrally attached to the bearing assembly and in operative communication with the jaws. A generally cylindrical front sleeve member is in driving engagement with the nut and overlies the nose section of the body member whereby when the front sleeve member is rotated with respect to the body member, the jaws will be moved radially with respect to the axial bore of the nose section.

Chuck for use with manual or powered driver having rotatable shaft, the chuck including a body member and jaws slidably positioned in angled passageways formed in the body. The chuck further includes a nut rotatably mounted relative to the body member and in engagement with threads on the jaws. A generally cylindrical sleeve member is disposed in driving engagement with the nut and overlying the nose section of the body so that when the sleeve member is rotated with respect to the body, the jaws will be moved thereby to grip the shaft of a tool. A spring member is biased to engage the sleeve member and is disposed selectively rotatably with respect to the nut. When the nut is tightened, the spring member becomes locked to the body member, which has an engagement portion that facilitates this locking relationship. When so locked, the nut is restrained from loosening during vibration of the chuck in use for its intended purpose.

Spring chuck

A chuck for use with a manual or powered driver having a rotatable drive shaft is provided. A plurality of jaws are slidably positioned in a body member. Each jaw has a jaw face formed on one side and threads formed on the opposite side. Each jaw face includes a first ridge substantially parallel to the chuck axis. The first ridge is offset from, and substantially parallel to, a plane including the jaw axis and the chuck axis. A second ridge is substantially parallel to the first ridge but offset from the plane opposite the first ridge. A third ridge is disposed between the first and second ridges and has a peak on the opposite side from the chuck axis of a plane including the peaks of the first and second ridges.

Chuck with improved jaw bite

A process for forming a bonded pile fabric of enhanced stability using low levels of adhesive is provided. In the process pile forming yarn is tacked by heat fusion an open weave base layer prior to the application of adhesive. The adhesive which is preferably a low viscosity latex is applied through an open weave base layer to further bond the pile. An apparatus for making the bonded pile fabric is also provided.
