Methods of manufacturing components and devices for providing respiratory pressure therapy, and components manufactured according to the methods. Support structures are provided for the components. In embodiments, the support structures may be rigid rings. Alternatively, resilient materials are applied to components to create resilient reinforcing elements. The devices and components include conduits to deliver flows of pressurised gas to a patient interface, positioning and stabilising structures having headgear tubes with support elements, and patient interfaces including the conduits.

A positioning and stabilising structure for a full-face mask of a patient interface comprises a superior strap portion, an inferior strap portion, and two anterior strap portions. Each anterior strap portion having a generally triangular surface with a first width and a second width that is less than the first width and disposed more anterior while in use. The superior strap portion and the inferior strap portion are each connected to or formed integrally with each anterior strap portion at a respective corner of the generally triangular surface. Each anterior strap portion is connected or connectable to a connection portion that engages the plenum chamber. The connection portion is releasably engageable from the plenum chamber. The superior strap portion and the inferior strap portion are joined to the anterior strap portions anterior to the patient's ears, when in use.

Positioning and stabilising structure for a patient interface

A head-mounted display system includes a head mounted display unit with a display and a positioning and stabilising structure configured to hold the head-mounted display unit in an operable position on the user's head in use. The positioning and stabilizing structure includes headgear with at least one strap configured to contact the user's head, in use. The head mounted display unit and at least a portion of the positioning and stabilizing structure are formed from a one piece construction of textile material.

The invention relates to a patient interface comprising a plenum chamber, a seal-forming structure, and a positioning and stabilizing structure, as well as the method of operating the patient interface. The patient's interface is configured to leave a patient's mouth uncovered or if the seal-forming structure is configured to seal around a patient's nose and mouth, the patient interface is configured to allow the patient to breath from the ambient in an absence of the flow of pressurized. The positioning and stabilizing structure includes headgear, and the seal-forming structure and at least a portion of the headgear is formed from a one piece construction of textile material. In another embodiment, the seal-forming structure and/or the positioning and stabilizing structure includes an adaptive portion that adjusts based on usage conditions. In another embodiment, the positioning and stabilizing structure, the seal-forming structure and/or the plenum chamber includes and/or is formed of a textile material, and the textile material includes at least one magnetic thread constructed of magnetic material to provide a magnetic interaction between a first part of the patient interface and a second part of the patient interface. In another embodiment, a stiffener is coupled to the plenum chamber, the seal-forming structure, and/or the positioning and stabilizing structure. In another embodiment, at least one of the plenum chamber and the seal-forming structure includes a textile material; and wherein the textile material includes a surface structure that limits adhesion of debris. A patient interface including a positioning and stabilizing structure that is configured to maintain a first seal-forming structure and a second seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position. The positioning and stabilizing structure comprises a frame coupled to the plenum chamber. The frame includes a central portion coupled to the plenum chamber outside of the cavity. The frame also includes a pair of arms that extend away from the central portion in a posterior direction past the second seal-forming structure. The pair of arms are more flexible than the central portion. The positioning and stabilizing structure also includes headgear straps coupled to the frame, which configured to provide a tensile force to the first seal-forming structure and to the second seal-forming structure into the patient's face via the frame.

The switching module includes a movable switching element, operable from the outside, for changing settings of the hearing device. A coil antenna for the inductive transmission of information signals to the hearing device is inserted into a hollow space formed in the switching element.

A life tube is disposed between the hearing aid body and the ear piece for guiding sound from a receiver in the hearing aid body to the ear of the wearer. A behind the ear (BTE) hearing instrument has a coupling between a housing and a sound tube. The sound tube is removably connected to the housing by a coupling connected to the sound tube. A sound-tube-side coupling component has a sound channel leading to the sound tube and a housing-side coupling component has a sound channel leading to a receiver, which, when the coupling is closed, are connected to each other by an acoustic seal. The coupling has a lug and an abutment, which connect the sound-tube-side coupling component to the housing-side coupling component in a form-fit and movable manner, in a spatial direction relative to each other. A locking device is provided that, when it is closed, impedes a movement of the coupling components relative to each other. The lug including the corresponding abutment and the locking device are disposed spatially separated from each other in the coupling.

A hearing aid has an interchangeable earpiece, which, on its own and separately from further components, can be replaced in a simple fashion and without great complexity, and without specialist tools. The hearing aid has a housing of a multi-part design and a receiver and a signal processing device within the housing. The receiver is arranged detachably in a first housing part and the signal processing device is disposed in a further housing part and the two housing parts are detachably interconnected. A detachable locking mechanism connects the housing parts. The receiver is connected to the signal processing device by way of a detachable electrical connector with a receiver-side and a signal-processing-device-side electrical contact. At least one of the electrical contacts is elastic. Due to the fact that the housing parts, the electrical connection and the receiver are detachably assembled, this results in the possibility of, when necessary, interchanging the receiver on its own, separately from further components. It is not necessary to use specific components or even an adhesive. In the process, the elastic electrical contact for electrically connecting the receiver and signal processing device makes it easier to close the electrical connection when assembling the housing parts.

A hearing aid has an operating device with an operating element for activating a first operating function and a second operating function of the hearing aid. The operating device is configured to cause an execution of an operating function of the hearing aid by activating the corresponding operating function via the operating element. The operating device suppresses the execution of the first operating function by activating the first operating function via the operating element if the second operating function is activated via the operating element.

A hearing apparatus is to be provided, with which the battery can be exchanged in an almost wear-free fashion. Provision is thus made to magnetically attach a battery compartment or a battery holding device in the housing of the hearing apparatus or hearing device. The battery holding device is inserted into an opening in the housing. A detachable magnetic connection realized by magnetic elements thus exists between the housing and the battery holding device, the principle force component of which runs in the insertion direction. It is thus possible to dispense with plug or snap connections for instance.

The invention relates to a securing system for a receiver tube in a hearing device. The object of the invention is to provide a securing system for the receiver tube in a hearing device, which reliably prevents the occurrence of disruptive acoustic feedback and does not require adhesive to secure the receiver tube. This object of the invention is achieved with a hearing device, in particular a BTE hearing device, in which a receiver facility is disposed, wherein the hearing device has a connector piece, which is connected to the receiver facility by way of a receiver tube, in order to conduct an acoustic signal or acoustic signals generated by the receiver facility to an acoustic output of the hearing device, with the receiver tube being provided with a connecting element, which connects the receiver tube and the connector piece to each other in an essentially acoustically sealed manner.
