There is provided an imaging system comprising image capture apparatus and display apparatus. The image capture apparatus is for capturing an image of an operator work site, the image including depth information. The display apparatus is in communication with the image capture apparatus, and comprises at least one display screen. The display apparatus is arranged to receive the image captured by the image capture apparatus, including the depth information, and display to the operator the image captured by the image capture apparatus, including the depth information, on the display screen. The display screen is located between the operator's eyes and the position of the work site. There is also provided a method for capturing and displaying an image of an operator work site.

Imaging system and method

An imaging system comprising an image capture apparatus, arranged to capture a stereoscopic image of an operator work site, in communication with a display system; the display system arranged to receive and display said stereoscopic image on a display screen to said operator; wherein said display system is arranged such that the display screen is placed intermediate the operator's eyes and the work site.

Imaging device and method

An intramedullary fixation device for fractures having a core guide wire, and distal and proximal petal segments mountable on the core guide wire and being able to be moved towards each other. Each petal segment has multiple petals able to be expanded for gripping an internal wall of a medullary canal; expansion segments are also mountable on the core guide wire, each expansion segment having a tapered engagement surface for engaging with and expanding the petals of the distal and proximal petal segments. A corresponding method is also disclosed.

Intramedullary fixation device for fractures

A display device, suitable for e.g. a TV set or a monitor, comprises a housing and a picture display unit, particularly a picture tube. The housing has a window, and the picture display unit, which is surrounded by the housing, has a front face that is oriented parallel to the window. In order to obtain a flush look, the window is formed from a transparent wall portion of the housing.
