A method is for providing a uniform resource locator. In an embodiment, the method includes receiving a medical data record via an interface, the medical data record being related to a patient; determining the uniform resource locater related to the medical data record via a computation unit, the uniform resource locator including an authorization token based on the medical data record, the medical data record being accessible by following the uniform resource locator; and providing the uniform resource locator with the interface to the patient. By providing a uniform resource locator of an embodiment including an authorization token, access to the medical data record can be granted fast and efficient, e.g. by a patient forwarding the uniform resource locator to another entity (e.g. a physician), while at the same time non-authorized entities cannot access the medical data record due to their lack of the suitable authorization token.

Blockchain-based distribution of medical data records

A method is for inserting a further data block into a first ledger, the first ledger including data blocks. In an embodiment, the method includes receiving a further medical dataset via an interface; determining the further data block via a calculation unit. The further data block includes the further medical dataset and a further link information. The further link information includes a hash of at least one of the data blocks of the first ledger. Finally, in an embodiment the method includes inserting the further data block into the first ledger via the calculation unit.

A method is for determining a further data block. An embodiment of the method includes receiving a further timestamp transaction via a first interface, including a hash of a dataset and a further verification time; receiving a distributed ledger via the first interface, including data blocks; determining via a first computation unit, a first time by querying a time server; performing via the first computation unit, a first check based on the first time and the further verification time; and determining via the first computation unit, upon first check being positive, the further data block based on the distributed ledger, the further data block including the further timestamp transaction. A block creation system is also included in another embodiment, for determining a further data block, the system including a first interface and first computation unit.

Documenting timestamps within a blockchain

Methods are disclosed for setting up a microservice, enhancing a ledger of microservices with a further microservice and accessing medical datasets stored in a microservice. The microservice contains the medical dataset in an encrypted form. The microservice includes an access logic based on accessing entity information. The access logic defines access conditions to the medical dataset and is configured to grant access to the medical dataset upon the access conditions being fulfilled.
