An example embodiment may involve a main database; a main memory; and one or more processors configured to: retrieve, by a data collector application, records from the main database, wherein the data collector application includes an embedded database; aggregate, by the data collector application, values in the records relating to a key performance indicator (KPI) to form partial KPI data stored in one or more blocks of the main memory; determine, by the data collector application, that utilization of the main memory exceeds a pre-defined threshold; in response to the utilization of the main memory exceeding the pre-defined threshold, write, by the data collector application, the partial KPI data to a row of the embedded database; and release, by the data collector application, the one or more blocks of the main memory used to store the partial KPI data.

Reduced memory utilization for data analytics procedures

Disclosed herein are applications and platforms for streamlined production of charts and reports from databases containing time series datasets and/or timestamped data. The applications described herein may employ dynamically retrieve data from data centers to quickly provide options to the user. The platform further allows configuration of the charts and/or reports by providing lists of metrics that may be available in the selected data, and lists of transforms that may be applied to the data. The application may employ dynamic user interfaces, which provide processing of the received time series datasets in a data agnostic manner. As a result, the systems and methods described herein may allow generating charts and reports using a streamlined workflow.

Visualizing time metric database

Disclose herein are applications and platforms for streamlined production of charts and reports from databases containing time series datasets and/or timestamped data. Visualizations are automatically generated based at least on a received identifier identifying a report. One or more data sets and one or more style configurations are retrieved from a shared visualization library via a backend API based on the received identifier and passed to a router component. The router component includes a switch that renders a score component, which generates a score visualization, if the retrieved data sets include score data. If the data sets include time series data, or the score visualization also includes a time series graph, the router component renders a time series component that passes the data sets and the style configurations to a parser that parses the data sets and the style configurations and outputs one or more highcharts options objects. A highcharts component generates the time series visualizations and/or adds the time series graph to the score visualization based on the highcharts options objects.
