A method includes receiving a first signal and updating a bitmap index responsive to the first signal. The bitmap index includes a plurality of bit strings, where a value stored in a particular location in each of the bit strings indicates whether a corresponding signal associated with a signal source has been received. Updating the bitmap index responsive to the first signal includes updating a first bit of the bitmap index and updating first metadata values stored in the bitmap index, wherein the first metadata values comprise a plurality of sort index values indicating relative ranks of the first bit string relative to other bit strings. The method also includes outputting query results based on a query, wherein the query results identify one or more signals associated with one or more bit strings of the plurality of bit strings and one or more signal sources of a plurality of signal sources, and wherein the query results are sorted according to one of the first metadata values.

A speaker securement assembly for headwear comprising a body member, a first speaker arm and a second speaker arm. One end of each of the speaker arms are inserted within the body member. The position of the speaker arms can be adjustable with respect to the body member. The non-insertion ends of the first and second speaker arms can be provided with speaker connectors, which in one embodiment can be an opening, for snugly received an associated Speaker. Preferably, two Clasps can be provided at or near the outer ends of the body member for removably securing the body member to the headwear to be worn by the user. With the body member secured to the headwear and the headwear worn by the user, the Speakers received within connectors at the ends of the speaker arm can be positioned at or near to the wearer's ears.

Updating the bitmap index responsive to the second signal includes updating a second bit of the bitmap index and updating a second metadata value stored in the bitmap index.

A method includes receiving a query directed to a bitmap index. The bitmap index includes a plurality of bit strings, where a value stored in a particular location in each of the bit strings indicates whether a corresponding signal associated with a signal source has been received, and where the bitmap index includes at least a first metadata value associated with each of the bit strings, at least a second metadata value associated with each of a plurality of signal sources, or both. The method also includes generating a query execution plan for the query and generating query results based on the query execution plan. The query results identify at least one signal associated with at least one bit string of the plurality of bit strings, at least one signal source of the plurality of signal sources, and at least one of the first metadata value or the second metadata value.

A device for housing an electronic device and which is removably secured to a hat such as a baseball hat. The device includes a front portion and two arm portions, with the electronic device preferably secured to the front portion and a speaker member disposed near the end of each arm portion. Speaker wires running from the speakers to the electronic device can be hidden by disposed the wires within the arm portions. As the device is removable it can be easily and quickly removed from securement to a first hat for use with another hat. No modifications, alterations or adjustments to the hat are required for securing the device from one hat to another.

An article of apparel for a human head in the nature of a cap having a button permanently attached thereto with a three-dimensional plush animal adapted to be removably attached to the cap. The three-dimensional plush animal having a strip of cloth attached to the belly portion of the three-dimensional plush animal. The strip of cloth has an opening adapted to snugly receive the button. The button is removably inserted through the opening thereby removably attaching the three-dimensional plush animal to the cap.

A solar collector panel is provided which has a pair of integral hook portions disposed along the longitudinal edges of the panel for corresponding contact with each pipe of a pair of adjacent solar collector pipes of a normal side-by-side solar collector pipe array. Adjacent hook members of adjacent panels cooperate to generally encompass, in a heat transfer relationship, a common pipe of successive adjacent pairs of pipes. Spring-biased fasteners attach the end panels to the main frame of the solar collector unit with the spring bias transmitted across the plurality of adjacent panels so as to introduce balancing forces to the cooperating hook members for clenching the common pipe therebetween as well as providing a solar collector panel/pipe array suspended from the main frame.
