Current state-of-the art injection methodologies for bipropellant engines ly on either impingement or turbulence to mix the fuel and oxidizer streams. The multiple impinging stream vortex injector combines both mixing schemes into a single injector. Both first stage mixing at point of impingement and second stage mixing or turbulent vortex mixing is accomplished by impinging momentum balanced, tangentially injected propellant streams onto one another. The impingement angles are calculated to yield a resultant stream vector that consists of only a tangential velocity component. The two stages of mixing results in increased engine performance and combustion efficiency.

Multiple impinging stream vortex injector

A pressurized piston expulsion system in which an inner and smaller tank is n the form of a piston and mounted inside a larger tank by being sealably and slidably mounted therein to define two chambers in the larger tank and the smaller tank including high pressure stored gas therein with valving means for controlling flow of the gas to one side of the smaller tank and piston to cause fuel on an opposite side of the smaller tank and piston to be dispensed to a point of use.

Pressurized piston expulsion system

A curvilinear solid propellant gas generator which includes a housing that as a diameter or width that is larger than the length of the gas generator and with a curvilinear solid propellant grain mounted therein to provide a long burning time propellant with a short length housing.
