An electrical connector that includes a housing with an interior cavity configured to receive a card. Electrical contacts are secured across a wall of the housing within the interior cavity and are configured to matingly receive corresponding electrical contacts of the card. The plurality of electrical contacts secured across the wall of the housing are the only electrical contacts of the electrical connector. Each of the plurality of electrical contacts includes a mating interface and the mating interface of each of the plurality of electrical contacts is co-planer. Additionally, the housing includes a card slot opening and each of the plurality of electrical contacts are arranged on one side of the card slot opening.

Example implementations relate to a handle made of a single metal sheet. In one example, the handle includes a plurality of chamfered edges where each edge includes a first side and a second side. The handle includes a rolled-over top cover and a rolled bottom edge disposed between each of the plurality of chamfered edges. The handle also includes a latching extension disposed adjacent to each of the plurality of chamfered edges. The latching extension of the handle includes a pivot hole, an engaging indentation, and a hook located at an endpoint of the latching extension.

A fan module latching device includes a bezel, a base adapted for enclosing a fan, and a handle assembly rotatably retained between the bezel and the base. The handle assembly has a rearwardly depending cam member and a frontwardly extending handle for actuating the handle assembly between a neutral position and an actuated position. A module latch, attached to the base, includes a cam follower and at least one latching tab, the cam follower engaging the cam member such that when the handle assembly is in the neutral position the latching tab is extended outwardly with respect to the base and when the handle assembly is in the actuated position the latching tab is retracted inwardly with respect to the base.

Handle for a chassis mounted server computer

A server, or other electronic device, includes a handle mated with the server. The server slides into and mates with a chassis. The handle is formed to provide a central opening through which visual and physical access is provided to a portion of the server, and preferably a portion of the server on which user interactive components are provided. Such components may one or more include status indicators, one or more user activated controls and one or more connectors. The opening permits the user to see the status indicators, which may comprise LEDs, activate the controls and connect an external cable to the server. The handle also is mated to the server via a hinge and a locking mechanism. With the locking mechanism is disengaged, the handle pivots away from the server. The user can then grip and further pivot the handle and pull the server out of the chassis.
