A flow control assembly including a subassembly including an annular safety valve, a shroud, a bushing connecting the shroud to the subassembly at one of two opposing ends of the shroud, and another bushing connecting the shroud to the subassembly at the other of the two opposing ends of the shroud. The method for operating a hydrogen storage and production system including pumping hydrogen into the salt cavern for storage through a borehole and producing hydrogen from the salt cavern through the same borehole.

Fluid storage and production

A tubular includes an outer surface and an inner surface defining a passage. A plug is arranged in the tubular blocking the passage. The plug is formed from a disintegrating on demand (DOD) material. An ignition device is coupled to the plug. An excitation mechanism is selectively operatively associated with the ignition device. The excitation mechanism selectively activates the ignition device to break apart the plug.

A method of closing a fluid flow path in a wellbore is disclosed that in one non-limiting embodiment includes: supplying a flexible structure having a selected shape sufficient to seat on an opening of the fluid flow path, the flexible structure including pores of selected dimensions; determining seating of the flexible structure on the opening of the fluid flow path from a sensor measurement; and supplying a slurry containing a sealant to the flexible structure seated on the opening of the fluid flow path to plug the pores with the sealant to close the fluid flow path.

Apparatus and methods for closing flow paths in wellbores

A first sleeve is shifted with a ball landed on a seat to open treating ports. At the conclusion of the treating such as fracturing, another ball is dropped on a seat in an adjacent sleeve. The adjacent sleeve shifts to contact the initial sleeve that was shifted earlier. When the sleeves abut the treating ports are closed by the second sleeve and the production ports that are preferably screened are also opened by the shifting of the second sleeve against the first sleeve. The first sleeve hits a travel stop in the housing to produce the full open position for the treating ports. The balls can be progressively larger in a bottom up direction for the procedure or the balls can all be the same size as the landing of a ball on the first sleeve reconfigures the sleeve above for the same sized ball.

Three position interventionless treatment and production valve assembly

The method allows a pressure test of a string with external packers without having the packer setting apparatus exposed to tubing pressure so that at a later time and at a lower pressure than the pressure test pressure, the external packers can be set with annulus pressure opened to a piston that references a low pressure chamber. The packers can be set in any desired order. Thereafter, a circulation sub can be triggered to open to allow the fracking to start. Fracking each interval beyond the first in an uphole direction can be accomplished with pumping ever increasing balls to seats associated with sliding sleeves to open the sleeves in order. In cemented completions, after a pressure test, a ported sub can open on a timer or other signal to allow pumping a combination of a bridge plug and a perforating gun to the desired location.
