A hydraulic unit, in particular for a controllable-slip vehicle brake system, includes a housing block, a pump, a first fluid duct, and a second fluid duct. The housing block defines a pump receptacle that receives the pump, which has a suction side and a pressure side. The first duct crosses the pump receptacle in a region of the pressure side of the pump. The second duct leads into the pump receptacle in the region of the pressure side. The first and second ducts are sealed off from each over via a separation point. The hydraulic unit is configured to enable contact with a damping device configured to damp pulsations and reduce operating noise of the hydraulic unit without negatively impacting functional properties of the hydraulic unit, in particular on pressure build-up dynamics of the vehicle brake system, or without jeopardizing a compact construction of the hydraulic unit.

Hydraulic unit

A piston pump includes a piston assembly which has at least one transverse bore which corresponds to a longitudinal bore. The piston pump further includes a cylinder in which the piston assembly is guided in a longitudinally movable manner, and an inlet valve which includes a cage element, in which an inlet valve spring and sealing element are arranged, and a corresponding inlet valve seat which is arranged on the piston assembly. The inlet valve sealing element can be pressed sealingly into the corresponding inlet valve seat by means of a restoring spring in order to close off the longitudinal bore. The restoring spring is designed as a simple cylindrical spiral spring which is supported axially with an upper end winding against the cage element and with a lower end winding against a cylinder base. The cage element has an elastic high-pressure sealing element which, in the direction of a cylinder wall, has a radial support region for holding and centering the upper end winding of the restoring spring. In order to guide the restoring spring, the cylinder has, at the transition between the cylinder wall and the cylinder base, a cylinder base corner radius which is adapted to the lower end winding.

Piston pump for delivering a fluid, and associated brake system

A piston pump includes a piston assembly which has a first piston element, a second piston element, and at least one transverse bore which corresponds to a longitudinal bore. The piston pump further includes a cylinder in which the piston assembly is guided in a longitudinally movable manner, and an inlet valve which includes a cage element, in which an inlet valve spring and sealing element are arranged, and a corresponding inlet valve seat which is arranged on the piston assembly. The inlet valve sealing element can be pressed sealingly into the corresponding inlet valve seat by means of a restoring spring in order to close off the longitudinal bore. The second piston element is configured as a sleeve made of a wear-resistant material, which accommodates axially acting power components. The inlet valve seat is disposed on a bending edge of the second piston element configured as a sleeve. The at least one transverse bore corresponding to the longitudinal bore is placed in the second piston element. The invention further relates to an associated braking system.

A check valve for a piston pump of a traction-controlled vehicle brake system includes hollow cylindrical valve seat part and a disk-shaped valve closing body, which is embraced by a spring clip and is secured to and guided against the valve seat part. The invention has the advantage that the check valve can be simply and inexpensively manufactured.

Check valve for a piston pump

A piston pump for a slip-controlled, hydraulic brake system of a vehicle. A hollow piston is provided with an inner piston seal that has a sealing lip. During an upward reciprocating motion of the piston, fluid can flow past the sealing lip in a direction of a piston inner (displacement chamber) and constitutes an inlet valve of the piston pump. During a downward movement of the piston the sealing lip is forced by pressure against an inner surface of the piston to prevent a flow of fluid past the sealing lip. The invention obviates the need for a separate inlet valve and makes it possible for the piston pump to be short in length.
