A press device comprising a press ring for pressing together tubular workpieces in between, and at least a first and a second pivotable jaw is described. The first jaw comprises a first engagement section and the second jaw comprises a second engagement section. The press ring comprises a first and a second receiving section for receiving the first and the second engagement section of the press jaws, respectively. A first and a second surface of the first and the second receiving section, respectively, contact the first and the second engagement section, respectively. Each comprise a planar surface. The first and the second contact surface oppose each other for applying a press force F. The first contact surface and the second contact surface each comprise at least one convex surface.

Press device

A press device comprising a press ring for pressing together tubular workpieces in between, and at least a first and a second pivotable jaw is described. The jaws comprise engagement sections. The press ring comprises receiving sections for receiving the engagement sections of the press jaws. A first and a second surface of the receiving sections, contact the engagement sections. Each of the first and second surface comprises a planar surface. The engagement sections comprise contact surfaces. The contact surfaces oppose each other for applying a press force F. The contact surfaces each comprise at least one convex surface, such that a radius of curvature r of the first and the second contact surface is larger than half a width Wx, Wz, measured perpendicular to an axis of curvature, of the respective first and second contact surface.

A press ring () for pressing tubular workpieces (), comprising: at least two movable press jaws (); and at least one connecting press jaw () connecting the movable press jaws (); wherein the movable press jaws () are each hinged at their proximal ends to the connecting press jaw () by means of respective bolts (), so that the distal ends () of the movable press jaws () can be rotated towards and away from each other to close respectively open the press ring () to receive a workpiece () therein, and characterized in that the respective bolts () are arranged in elongated holes (), allowing a translational displacement of the bolts () in the elongated holes () upon rotating the movable press jaws ().

Provided in a quick coupling system for fastening an interchangeable head to a pressing tool is a securing arrangement. The pressing tool has a press ram, which is movable in an axial direction, for actuating a pressing device in the interchangeable head. The quick coupling system has no thread and has either a bayonet closure or a securing arrangement having radially displaceable securing elements.

Quick-connect coupling

A press jaw pair for producing a press fit of fittings on pipes and the like has a first and a second one-piece press jaw lever () that are arranged such that they are rotatable about a common axis (x). At least one bearing lug () with a bearing opening () is integrally formed on each press jaw lever (), wherein the bearing lugs () are arranged coaxially in the fitting state. A torsion spring element () with two stop cams () can be inserted into the bearing openings () in such a way that the two press jaw levers () are supported about the common axis (x) in a spring-loaded fashion and held in a mutually captive fashion.

A pressing tool having a drive unit, a piston-cylinder unit with a fork-like receiver and an actual clamping pincer. The clamping pincer has a T-shaped mounting which, with a retaining bolt and a retaining bolt receiver, is connected to a fork-like receiver. In the fork-like receiver, a roller holder with two rollers is located. The fork-like receiver is part of the piston-cylinder unit. On actuation of the pressing tool, the piston-cylinder unit is pulled back and thus the roller holder with the rollers is moved forward relative thereto in an axial direction towards the clamping pincer. Thus, the rollers roll on roll flanks of the clamping jaws of the clamping pincer. The clamping pincer is pressed together by the rollers pressing apart the clamping jaws at the rear. Thus, the rollers are supported on a bearing block with sliding bearing surfaces. In the region between contact surfaces of the rollers with the sliding bearing surfaces and the contact line of the two rollers, there is a dirt collection chamber.

Roller holding unit

A pump receiver housing of a hydraulically operated pressing apparatus designed in a compact and lightweight manner and that connects a drive unit to a piston cylinder unit and to a press unit. A piston pump assembly is connected to a pump flange pressed directly onto a connection cylinder of the piston-cylinder unit. The connection cylinder projects through a pump lead-through in the housing wall into the pump receiver housing, and directly contacts on the pump piston. Thus, the pump receiver housing is designed without conduits, so that an inside of the pump receiver housing is free of or has no high pressure.
