A method including sending a media content to a target media destination through a first server and receiving a first response to the media content through a second server, where the first server is the intended receiver of the first response. A resulting triggering event is followed by the generating of a request to determine how to handle the triggering event. The request is received through a network routing control that comprises logic to generate a second response to the request. Next, the second response to the request is executed.

Adaptive media content delivery network

A system comprising a communication activity detecting device, a network selector, and a network control memory structure that operate to detect anomalous communication activity and, in response, send a routing control to a location routing number control memory structure to alter a location routing number, which results in communication activity switching from a first network to a second network. A method including receiving a network switch control to switch communication activity from a first network to a second network, selecting the second network from one or more networks to route the communication activity, and sending a routing control to a location routing number control memory structure. The routing control may include instructions to alter a first location routing number to a second location routing number associated with the second network.

Communication failover and load balancing method

A method comprising receiving a media signal from a media source at one of one or more media signal receivers, determining an association between the media source and the one of the one or more media signal receivers, sending the association to a state control memory structure, determining one of one or more media signal transmitters associated with a media destination, and sending the first media signal to the media destination utilizing the one of the one or more media signal transmitters associated with the media destination. As a media source may be further utilized as a media destination, the association is utilized to determine the one of the one or more media signal transmitters.

Virtual border controller

Various embodiments provide for a way of routing messages using location routing numbers. More specifically, some embodiments can route calls on different legacy networks by using features of existing telecommunication policy and databases. For example, a location routing number can be registered in a number portability administration center database. The location routing number may be in a native number block of a facility carrier and a company registering the location routing number in the number portability administration center database may not be the facility carrier. The destination switch of the facility carrier can be programmed to accept traffic associated with the location routing number. As a result, components of the network can route the message for the company to a destination switch of the facility carrier.

Message routing using location routing numbers

Certain aspects of the present methods and systems may focus on computer implemented methods and systems for managing pseudonymous communication sessions. Such a system may include a data store, including data records corresponding to a plurality of available data communication addresses ('DCAs'), and including a first DCA; a CPU; and memory. The memory may include instructions for causing the CPU to execute a method including: obtaining a pseudonymous communication session ('PCS') initiation request including a second DCA; removing the first data communication address from said plurality of available data communication addresses and associating the first DCA the second DCA in the data store; providing the first DCA in response to said pseudonymous communication session initiation request; and, in the event of obtaining a data communication from a source DCA directed to the first DCA, creating a PCS between the source DCA and the second DCA.
