The system includes one or more computing platforms providing computer-automated functionality performing method steps for accepting a digital media and digital media related data from a publisher, generating associated information unique identifiers, monitoring social media networks for member-user rankings of the digital media after it is posted, and communicating to a member-user targeted marketing information based on the user rankings A data storage device persists the digital media, digital media related data, and information unique identifier, which may include a linking hash character, a unique identifier, an account identifier, and/or social media network system-defined elements. The publisher selects digital media and information representing digital media elements, and posts the digital media on the social media network website. Edits, if applied to the selected digital media, are persisted in the data storage.

Targeted marketing based on social media interaction

A system and method is provided for dynamically managing advertiser affiliate links for online marketing. A global redirect server accepts a visitor's web browser request for a product or non-product webpage associated with an affiliate network advertiser URL, and returns a corresponding product or non-product webpage to the visitor that is corrected for the visitor's geographic region if such a webpage exists, or returns the originally requested webpage if it does not. The server determines the visitor's geographic region based upon request metadata, and can generate a corrected webpage that affords analytic and commission tracking even if no corresponding affiliate network exists in the determined geographic region. The server includes a database for locating products within the determined geographic region that are comparable to the product of the product webpage request, in the event that the exact product is not available in the geographic region.

A computer-implemented method for dynamic link redirection includes receiving a request to display online content to a user, determining a plurality of current content links in the online content, for each current content link among the plurality of current content links, performing operations including: obtaining current assessment parameters for the current content link, generating a current assessment for the current content link based on the current assessment parameters, obtaining a plurality of alternative content links based on the current content link, generating a plurality of alternative assessments for each alternative content link among the plurality of alternative content links based on respective alternative assessment parameters for the alternative content link, determining a selected content link among the plurality of alternative content links based on the current assessment and the plurality of alternative assessments, replacing the current content link in the online content with the selected content link, and displaying the online content to the user.

A method and system is provided for facilitating affiliate link generation using a web browser application. A publisher enables the system by identifying a webpage on an affiliate web site. The system performs an initial assessment of the page to extract webpage information, which is compared to information stored in a database. If the extracted information matches stored information, a record of the webpage is displayed and an affiliate link is dynamically generated for immediate use. If the extracted information does not match stored information, a new record of the webpage is created. If the webpage contains product-specific data, a product-specific record is stored. If the webpage does not contain product-specific data, a non-product record is stored. An affiliate link is then dynamically created. The new record of the product and dynamically created affiliate link is added to the database for immediate use.
