A device for controlling a driven moving element including an electronic unit with an object sensor. According to the invention, the electronic unit is designed, by means of the object sensor, to determine an object distance between the driven moving element and an object in the region of the moving element and to control the movement of the moving element depending on said object distance.

A device for controlling a driven movement element with an electronic unit is proposed, which comprises a transmitter for electromagnetic radiation, for example, light, in particular infrared light, and a receiver for electromagnetic radiation emitted by a transmitter for the detection of objects on a propagation path between transmitter and receiver. According to the invention, the electronic unit is designed to detect a temporal change in at least one feature derived from the received electromagnetic radiation and, upon a detection of a change in the at least one feature that is comparatively slow over time, to output a signal that is associated with a detection of smoke.

A door system includes a sensor device for monitoring a vertical door edge. The sensor device has a transmitter that generates a light beam that runs along the vertical door edge, and a receiver to receive the light emitted by the transmitter. Further, an element of the sensor device is mounted in a region of a base of the door, with the sensor element being either in or on the base in front of the vertical door edge.

Door system comprising a sensor device for monitoring vertical door edges

A sensor apparatus comprising a distance sensor comprising a transmitting device having at least one transmitter with a light source, and a receiving device having at least one receiver, and an electronic unit. The electronic unit being designed to emit light by means of the transmitter and to determine a distance which is covered by light emitted by the transmitter from a reflection surface of an object in a monitored area to the respective receiver. According to the invention, light guide means for transmission of light are arranged between the transmitting device and the monitored area and/or between the monitored area and the receiving device. The light guide means reflects the light at least once so that light can pass from the transmitting device to the monitored area and/or from the monitored area to the receiving device on an angled path.

Sensor apparatus comprising a distance sensor

A sensor device having a sensor arrangement for detecting moving objects that includes a sensor and an electronic unit. The sensor arrangement is designed to detect an object and to subsequently investigate whether there are present within the surface of the object regions that move at a different speed and/or acceleration. The sensor arrangement can also investigate whether the object is accelerating.

A sensor device including a source for electromagnetic radiation, a receiver and a control device, the control device being designed for emitting electromagnetic radiation by means of the source and for determining a distance that is covered by the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the source from a reflection surface of an object to the receiver, doing so by evaluating a propagation time of the radiation or a phase of an oscillation modulated onto the radiation. Sensor device

A sensor device including a source for electromagnetic radiation, a plurality of receivers for the electromagnetic radiation, and an electronics unit designed to transmit electromagnetic radiation by means of the source and to determine a distance which the electromagnetic radiation emitted from the source travels from the reflection surface of an object to respective receivers by evaluation of the delay time of the electromagnetic radiation and/or the phase of an oscillation modulated on to the electromagnetic radiation. The electronics unit for the detection of reflective objects, which are like floating parts and are distributed in three dimensions in a medium, is able to determine from the measured distances a first group of distances which fit a predetermined distribution, and, if there is more than one group member, to emit a signal which is associated with the detection of reflective objects which are like floating parts.
