Particle collecting unit for the detection of particles in the particle level of substance without evaporating the collected particles is disclosed. The particle collecting unit comprises a body, a duct extending through the body and connecting between a rear opening of the body and an air intake orifice of the body, an aperture or slit in a mid-portion of the body adapted for receiving a removable sampling member into a position within the duct, wherein the particles collecting unit is configured to be removably coupled to a vacuum generator of a vacuum cleaner model available in the market, with said rear opening of the body coupled to an air intake opening of the vacuum generator. Pressure release openings are provided in walls of the duct for reducing the load on a motor of the vacuum cleaner.

Sampling device

A casing for use as a test kit that employs crushable ampoules prefilled with chemical or biological reagents, comprising a molded casing having a distinct reaction chamber, and at least one distinct cell adapted for receiving a crushable ampoule. The cell has a flexible pressing area at its outer wall for pressing and crushing the ampoule. An opening exists between the chamber and the cell that is either narrow enough, or provided with filtering means so as to allow passage of the reagent while preventing passage of glass shards from the cell to the chamber. The casing further comprises an inlet leading from the exterior of the casing into the inner space of the reaction chamber and a sampling probe, for enabling obtaining samples of material and delivery of said material through the inlet to the reaction chamber.

Molded casing for a test kit

Process and a test kit for the detection of drugs of methylenedioxy amphetamine family and derivatives, are disclosed. The process comprises (a) sampling sufficient amount of a material, suspected to be examined comprise of said methylenedioxyphenyl group; (b) admixing said sample with a sufficient amount of a strong acid reagent; and (c) detecting color gradual appearance and determining accordingly the presence of said methylenedioxy amphetamine drugs in predetermined interval of time. The test kit comprises a strong acid reagent; a color vs time chart comprising means for the detection of a specific drug by means of color and time of appearance, a reaction chamber wherein suspected material and said strong acid reagent are admixed and color is indicated; a sampler having means to collect sufficient amount of suspected material to be tested and to insert it to the reaction chamber.

Process and test kit for cocaine detection

The invention provides a process for the presumptive identification of cocaine or heroin street drug comprising applying to a sample of the suspected drug a reagent which gives a characteristic color reaction in the presence of trace amounts of organic bases or acetic acid. The invention also provides a prepacked screening kit for illicit cocaine and heroin street drug if present, comprising a reagent which gives a characteristic color reaction in the presence of the trace amounts of organic bases or acetic acid in said illicit substances.

The invention provides an aerosol spray reagent for the presumptive identification of cocaine, cocaine salts and phencyclidene comprising cobalt thiocyanate, a polyol, an aliphatic solvent, a nonionic emulsifier and a silicon antifoam agent, as well as providing a multi-reagent test kit for the presumptive identification of cocaine, cocaine salts and phencyclidene comprising a first aerosol spray reagent as defined and a second reagent which produces a color reaction in the presence of trace amounts of a diazotisable amine.

Reagent, process and kit for drug detection

The invention provides a multi-reagent test kit for the presumptive identification of traces of explosives and/or discriminating between 'innocent' material and explosive containing a first reagent comprising about 2.5 to 20% V/V of a tetra alkyl ammonium or phosphonium hydroxide in a solvent comprising at least 60% V/V dimethylsulfoxide and about 0 to 30% V/V methanol or water and a second reagent comprising a diazotization compound and a coupling compound of a Griess reagent pair.
