A device including a housing having an access opening, a swing arm mounted to the housing and configured to be selectively pivoted toward and away from the access opening, and a closure captured by the swing arm. The closure can be configured to be selectively moved in a substantially vertical motion relative to the swing arm between a retracted position and an inserted position at least partially in the access opening and can have locking features for cooperating with engagement features in the device to move the closure into a closed and sealed configuration.

The invention relates to infusate sleeves for use in dialysis and related systems and methods. The infusate sleeves include a sleeve body, a filter inside of the sleeve body, a rigid disk covering an opening in the top of the sleeve body, a draw tube connected to the rigid disk and extending downwardly into the sleeve body, and a fluid connector fluidly connected to the draw tube for connection to a dialysis system.

A removable water trap device () removes moisture from a respiratory gas stream from a patient interface assembly (), enabling monitoring of gas within the respiratory gas stream by an analysis bench (). The device includes a housing (), an upstream water trap connector (), and a filter assembly (). The housing includes a first portion () insertably attachable to a tether assembly receptacle () to connect the device to the analysis bench for delivering the gas stream via a tether line (). The upstream water trap connector is attachable to a downstream patient interface connector () in a sample flow line () of the patent interface assembly for receiving the gas stream via the sample flow line. The filter assembly is insertably contained within the housing and configured to remove moisture from the gas stream, the filter assembly including a downstream water trap connector () attachable with the tether line within the tether assembly receptacle. The filter assembly is replaceable independently of replacement of the patient interface assembly.
