A packaging for an implant to hold the implant in a first condition. The packaging including a first packaging tube and a container, wherein the implant is movable from the container into the first tube and maintained within the first tube in a second condition, the implant having a first transverse dimension in the first condition and a second transverse dimension in the second condition, the second transverse dimension being less than the first transverse dimension.

Packaging for surgical implant

A vascular graft configured for occluding a vasculature of a patient including a biocompatible polymeric textile structure formed of a plurality of filaments spaced to enable blood flow through spaces between the filaments. The textile structure forms a tubular body having a first longitudinally extending opening. An inner element has a proximal end and a distal end, the inner element composed of an open pitched metal coil having a second longitudinally extending opening and is positioned within the longitudinally extending opening of the textile structure.

Vascular implant

A device for occluding a vasculature of a patient including a micrograft having an absorbent polymeric structure with a lumen of transporting blood. The micrograft has a series of peaks and valleys formed by crimping. The occluding device is sufficiently small and flexible to be tracked on a guidewire and/or pushed through a microcatheter to a site within the vasculature of the patient. Delivery systems for delivering the micrografts are also disclosed.

A system for delivering a vascular implant into a body lumen including a vascular implant having a first engagement portion at a proximal portion and an elongated delivery member having a second engagement portion at a distal portion releasably engageable with the first engagement portion. An elongated member extends through the delivery member wherein in the extended position the elongated member extends into at least a portion of the implant to prevent release of the implant from the delivery member and in the retracted position the elongated member enables release of the implant from the delivery member.

A vascular implant configured for occluding a vasculature of a patient having a biocompatible polymeric structure formed of a plurality of filaments spaced to maintain surface porosity and an inner radiopaque coil positioned within the longitudinally extending opening of the polymeric structure and attached to the polymeric structure. The polymeric structure and radiopaque coil are attached forming a joint at the distal end.

A system for delivering a device into a body lumen of a patient, the system including a device having a marker band and a tube at a proximal portion, and a pusher member having a ribbon and a ball or hook at a distal portion of the delivery member and a compression coil positioned over the ribbon, the ball or hook releasably engageable with the tube.
