An apparatus and a method for vision rehabilitation are provided, wherein the apparatus includes a communication component, a visualization component and a processing component configured to receive, through the communication component, a plurality of data that define a visual field of at least one eye of a patient, generate a therapeutic image on the basis of the plurality of data, and visualized, through the visualization component, the therapeutic image, wherein the therapeutic image has geometric and/or chromatic features which, if perceived by the patient, stimulate a regeneration of tissues comprised in the visual apparatus of the patient.

A method and apparatus for checking tyres in a tyre production line. The method includes alternately illuminating, with a first and second grazing light radiation, a surface portion of the tyre and respectively acquiring a first and second two-dimensional digital image of the illuminated surface portion. For each point of the surface portion, the respective overall light power of the first and second light radiation incident at the point respectively comes from two half-spaces that are opposite with respect to an optical plane passing through the perpendicular to the surface at the point; and comparing the first and second image to obtain information on an altimetric profile of the surface portion.

Apparatus and method for checking tyres in a tyre production line. The apparatus includes a support frame for mounting the tyre, a flange for attaching the support frame to a movement member, and an acquisition system for acquiring digital images of a surface of the tyre. The acquisition system includes a linear camera and an illumination system for illuminating an objective line of the camera. The illumination system includes a light source and an optical lens system having a second optical axis. The optical lens system includes first and second converging lenses arranged on the side opposite the light source with respect to the first lens so that the light source, the first lens and the second lens are coaxial with the second optical axis.

A method for controlling the manufacturing of tires for wheels of vehicles includes: extracting a cured tire from a curing station, in which the cured tire has accumulated heat during a curing process; and verifying the presence of possible defects or imperfections in that cured tire. The verification includes detecting first electromagnetic radiations representative of a heat emission from different portions of the cured tire while the cured tire frees the accumulated heat; providing at least one output signal representative of the first electromagnetic radiations detected to allow an analysis of the cured tire and to verify the presence of the possible defects or imperfections. Method for controlling the manufacturing of tyres for wheels of vehicles

A method for segmenting the surface of a tire including at least one groove, includes: irradiating a portion of the surface of the tire by means of electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength in the visible spectrum; acquiring an image of the irradiated portion of the surface; and processing the image so as to segment it into regions corresponding to regions of the tire which do or do not belong to the at least one groove. Additionally, processing the image so as to segment it includes: calculating a statistical quantity associated with the irradiation by electromagnetic radiation for each region of the image; and determining whether the region of the image does or does not belong to the at least one groove according to the value of the statistical quantity. Method and apparatus for controlling the movement of building members of a tyre in a process for manufacturing tyres for vehicle wheels includes: providing a first device of a first electromagnetic radiation on a first tyre building member; detecting, during a movement of the first building member, a first image in which the first electromagnetic radiation defines a trajectory followed, in the movement, by the first emitter device; carrying out a first comparison between the first image and one or more first reference data; and generating a first notification signal as a function of the first comparison.
