Systems and methods for avoidance of partial pulse interference in radar. The systems and methods include a radar processor for generating control signals that direct the generation and transmission of two consecutive radar pulses using a waveform and pulse train generator and transmitter. The systems and methods also include receiving reflected echoes corresponding to the transmitted pulses using a receiver and processing the echoes using an analog to digital converter, filter, and digital signal processor to separate echoes from each pulse, process them, and combine the results to avoid partial pulse interference while maintaining pulse energy and an acceptable signal to noise ratio.

Methods and systems for avoidance of partial pulse interference in radar

Resolution of a radar operating within a bandwidth is improved by defining a quantity of substantially rectangular sub-band filters to subdivide the bandwidth in the frequency domain into the quantity of sequential sub-bands having a sub-bandwidth. Each signal sent by the radar is associated with a transmission temporal moment. Each of the quantity of return signals received is routed in one to one correspondence to the sub-band filters, each signal being received at a corresponding sub-band filter. The return signals received are summed by synchronizing the associated transmission temporal moment to produce a reconstructed return signal.

An ultrasound mixed signal multiplexer/pre-amplifier application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) for supplying voltages to a group of elements of an ultrasound array, receiving voltages from the same or another group of elements of the array, and amplifying the received voltages for transmission to external circuitry. The transmit groups and receive groups are shifted to provide accurate visual images with a minimal number of transmit and receive cycles.

An improved pattern recognition system. The invention operates on a plurality of feature vectors from a single class of data samples. The inventive system estimates a pruning radius for the feature vectors in the single class of data samples and generates a replacement class therefrom based on the estimated pruning radius. This pruning radius is used to train a classifier which in turn facilitates the recognition of a data pattern in raw data. In a specific implementation, the pruning radius is adapted based on current results from the classifier. The invention satisfies the need in the art by providing an automated technique for training classifiers for nonstationary data classes which is not limited by the need for more than one class of data.
