Laptop computer carrying case of a generally parallelepiped form for transporting laptop computers of small and oversized dimensions. The carrying/case includes a front panel, a rear panel spaced apart and opposed from the front panel and a pair of side panels attached to the front and rear panels along corresponding side edges of the front and rear panels. A base panel is attached to the front, rear and side panels. A cover flap is attached to the case and is adjustably latched to the case. One or more side straps protect oversized computers from damage.

The invention is directed to an article of upright rolling luggage including a luggage case having a bottom wall, a top wall opposed from the bottom wall, and a rear wall extending between a rear edge of the bottom wall and a rear edge of the top wall. The invention also includes one or more wheels rotatably mounted to a portion of the luggage case substantially at the rear edge of the bottom wall. One or more bases extend from the bottom wall and having at least one portion spaced apart from the wheel. One or more feet are movably mounted to the base where the foot is movable from a first position substantially adjacent to the bottom wall to a second position extending away from the bottom wall.

A handle system for removable attachment to an existing handle of a rolling luggage case. The system includes a grasping bar that has a gripping area ergonomically formed for grasping, and a releasable securement structure coupled to the grasping bar. The releasable securement structure is configured for releasably securing the grasping bar to the existing handle of the rolling luggage case at an end thereof distal from the luggage case. A locking mechanism is provided that is operatively associated with the releasable securement structure for locking the grasping bar in two or more pivot positions relative to the existing handle of the rolling luggage.

An article of luggage, such as a rolling duffel, includes a base, opposing ends connected to the base and opposing sides connected to the base and the opposing ends. A top including a lid is connectable to the opposing sides and the opposing ends. The sides and top are formed of a deformable material. A reinforcing member extends substantially along the length of the top, so that the article of luggage may be stood on one of the opposing ends such that the other end is at least partially supported by the reinforced top. The top may be formed completely by the lid, and the reinforcing member may be a frame extending around the periphery of the lid. The reinforcing member may be formed of a rigid plastic material.

Rolling duffel bag

A handle system for a rolling luggage case, including a telescoping post members extensible from a retracted position within a luggage case to an extended position protruding from the luggage case, a cross member extending between adjacent end portions of the telescoping post members, and a handle pivotally mounted to the cross member. A post cap member is attached on an end of the telescoping post member that is distal from the luggage case. The post cap member includes a cylindrical bearing surface to which a handle is pivotally mounted. The cylindrical bearing surface includes a pin reception aperture disposed on a circumference of the cylindrical bearing surface. The cylindrical bearing surface and the pin can be fabricated from a rigid structural material, such as metal.

Adjustable luggage handle system with locking pin

Luggage for carrying clothing, accessories and the like when traveling includes an adjustable packing board having first and second panels that are joined together between first and second luggage attachment ends. A pair of drawstrings are fixed at bottom ends to opposite ends of a luggage bottom and slidably connected to the attachment ends of the panels. The drawstrings can be loosened and tightened to move the packing board away from and toward the luggage bottom. The first and second panels can be separated and swung away from each other. These features allow the packing board to be moved out of the way when packing and unpacking the luggage. The packing board may also include detachable and fixed zippered compartments for containing travel items.
