A windshield wiper scrubbing device for cleaning a windshield is disclosed. The windshield wiper scrubbing device comprises an arm comprising a top side and a bottom side. The arm moves in a first and second vertical direction. The bottom side of the arm comprises a scrubbing rod that moves in a first and second horizontal direction. A liquid canister releases cleaning solution onto the windshield upon a first actuation of a switch. A scrubbing pad located on the scrubbing rod is placed onto the windshield through a first rotation in a first rotational direction after the windshield receives the cleaning solution. A scraper located on the bottom side of the arm is placed onto the windshield through a second rotation in a second rotational direction upon a second actuation of the switch. A motor powers the scrubbing rod and rotates in the first rotational direction and the second rotational direction.

A computed tomography (CT) imaging apparatus includes a radiation source to emit X-rays while rotating in a predetermined trajectory; a plurality of detectors arranged in a circular ring and configured to detect the emitted X-rays; and processing circuitry to cause the radiation source to scan an object, and cause a subset of the detectors nearest to the radiation source to move in a direction intersecting with a plane of the predetermined trajectory of the radiation source in accordance with a determined location of the radiation source.

Detector apparatus for cone beam computed tomography

A CT scanner apparatus includes an X-ray source mounted on a gantry of the CT scanner apparatus and configured to emit X-rays, and at least one magnetic field gradient circuit. The at least one magnetic field gradient circuit and the X-ray source rotate together. The CT scanner apparatus also includes a CT detector mounted on the gantry in fixed orbital opposition to the X-ray source. The CT detector is configured to detect the X-rays, wherein the CT detector and the X-ray source are configured to rotate along a first orbital path. The CT scanner apparatus also includes an array of fixed PCD assemblies arranged in a ring inside the first orbital path. Each PCD assembly is configured to rotatably actuate about a gantry support from a first position to a second position to reduce blockage of emitted X-rays when the magnetic field gradient circuit rotates within a predetermined distance of the PCD assembly.

A method of processing positron emission tomography (PET) information obtained from a PET detector having a plurality of detector regions, each detector region having at least one detector module and a corresponding regional collector, the method including the steps of receiving PET event information for a single PET event, the PET event information including energy information and crystal position information of the single PET event; receiving non-detector event information; generating an event list that includes (1) a PET event entry, the PET event entry including a fine time stamp, the energy information, and the crystal position information, and (2) a non-detector event entry that includes the received non-detector event information; and transmitting the generated event list to a computer for off-line processing.

Configurable coincidence pairing and filtering system and method for positron emission tomography

A computerized tomography process () that provides, optionally, for preliminary scans (), helically-oriented full scans (), and/or improved resolution scans (). In some instances, partial cross-sectional views are captured which views are then later joined to yield a complete view. In some instances a helical image-capture path is used. In yet other instances small lateral shifts to the position of the X-ray source are used to provide higher resolution views of the object being scanned.

Linking interface system using plural controllable bidirectional bus

An interface, between a display monitor and a source of image information for display as pixels at display locations of the monitor, the interface comprising: a monitor input terminal for receipt of image information for display on the monitor; a refresh memory for storing image information at memory locations corresponding to the display locations of the monitor; a device for sequentially reading the image information from the memory locations of the refresh memory to the monitor input terminal for display at the corresponding display locations of the monitor; a device for storing new image information for one of the memory locations of the refresh memory; and a device for replacing sequential reading of the image information from said refresh memory at the one of the memory locations with: (i) reading of new image information from the new information store to the monitor input terminal for display of the new image information at the discrete display location of the monitor corresponding to the one of the memory locations, and (ii) writing the new image information from the new information store to the one of the memory location of the refresh memory. High resolution monitor interface and related interfacing method

A high speed memory system for 100% bandwidth use with a control bus bearing contiguous sequentially intermixed data read and data write signals including a first buffer for reading data from a storage means into the data bus and a second buffer for writing data from the data bus into the storage means and a memory control sensitive to the order of received write requests and read requests signals to avoid any simultaneous utilization of the data bus and storage means in accordance with a prearranged schedule of preferential utilization of the data bus and storage means. The subject invention and related method further contemplates the employment of a plurality of input/output ports which are responsive to data read and/or data write request signals on the control bus for reading data from and/or writing data into the data bus in synchronism with the utilization of the first and second buffers.
