A pneumatic controller described herein includes a housing to be connected to an actuator. The housing contains a position monitor with a wireless communication interface. The pneumatic controller also includes a pneumatic control module to be joined to the housing and operatively coupled to the actuator.

Wireless pneumatic controller

An assembly configured to protect a circuit board from electromagnetic interference. The assembly includes a metal shield and an enclosure. The metal shield includes a metal plate and a plurality of tangs. The plurality of tangs are spaced about and extend transversely away from at least a portion of a perimeter portion of the metal plate. The enclosure has a bottom wall and at least one sidewall disposed around a perimeter of the bottom wall, the at least one sidewall configured to urge the tangs of the metal shield inward when the metal shield is disposed in the enclosure.

Electromagnetic interference shield

A device for protecting a circuit board from electromagnetic interference, and which includes shield to be attached to the circuit board. The device includes a metal plate and a plurality of tangs. The metal plate has a perimeter portion. The plurality of tangs are spaced about and extend transversely away from at least a portion of the perimeter portion of the metal plate. Each tang includes a bridge portion and a finger portion. The bridge portion has a first end attached to the perimeter portion and a second end spaced away from the perimeter portion and attached to the finger portion. The finger portion extends away from the second end of the bridge potion and is disposed at an obtuse angle relative to the bridge portion such that the plurality of tangs, in combination, are adapted to receive the circuit board.

A positioner for a control valve assembly is disclosed wherein the positioner is mounted internally to thus protect the positioner from damage stemming from environmental, impact, or other outside influences. Accordingly, not only can the position of the valve be accurately measured, but the sensing hardware is less subjected to damage or other drawbacks associated with exposure.

A pneumatic device having a selectively variable pneumatic output comprises an inlet connectable to an air source and an outlet disposed in a flow path, a control assembly in the flow path and having a plurality of differently sized primary orifi. The control assembly includes a selector having a secondary orifice, the selector moveable relative to the primary orifi between a plurality of positions, the primary orifi and the secondary orifice arrangeable relative to one another to permit the secondary orifice to be in flow communication with a selected one of the primary orifi. The control assembly further blocks the remaining primary orifi when the secondary orifice is aligned with the selected one of the primary orifi.

Pneumatic device having a selectively variable orifice

An electro-pneumatic converter device with modular components and with supporting housing structure enabling the device to be readily convertible from a current to pressure positioner to a current to pressure transducer. A valve positioner with an enclosure having a housing, a modular base, and a separable field terminal box. A self contained cover mounted to the enclosure with no additional mounting components. A plastic pneumatic relay ultrasonically welded together to eliminate metal mounting parts and lower assembly time. Open channels in a housing surface cooperating with a gasket to provide fluid passageways between the housing and the modular base. Pressure gauges are removably mounted on a modular unit for location completely within the housing. A floating interconnect terminal board permits self-aligning of mating terminals as the modular unit is inserted into the housing. A supply biased pneumatic pressure relay has supply pressure channeled to the supply port and also to a supply bias cavity through a capillary hole.
