A portable glove drying apparatus having a housing defining an inner chamber containing a fan and power source, as well as a sized outlet for receiving a golf glove. A flexible but resilient loop is disposed across the sized outlet and can be inserted in a golf glove to support and expand the golf glove from its inside. The fan can generate air flow that is directed into a base opening of the glove and out of ventilation holes of the golf glove. The air flow acts to improve evaporation of moisture contained on or in the golf glove and thereby promotes rapid drying of the golf glove.

Method and apparatus for drying gloves and other objects

An actuation efficiency for a head is determined based on a displacement of the head relative to a storage media responsive to excitation of a heater element. Damage to the head is detected based on the determined actuation efficiency. Related circuits and devices are also discussed.

Head damage detection based on actuation efficiency measurements

Various embodiments are disclosed that control head fly height based on estimates of head fly height. The fly height clearance between the head and a data storage media is estimated. Heating of the head by a heater element is then regulated in response to the estimated fly height.

An apparatus to facilitate a physician's examination and manipulation of a patient's joint which includes an elastic stretchable wrap for wrapping a limb of a patient and for restricting its size to avoid pooling of blood and liquid during manipulation and a surgical garment for the physician, said wrap and garment having cooperating surfaces for affixing the patient's limb to the garment for effecting manipulation of the patient's joint by the surgeon.
