A fluid dispenser including a body, a chamber coupled to or formed as part of the body and configured to contain a quantity of fluid, and a piston coupled to the body and rotatable within the chamber to different position. The piston is movable relative to the chamber in a first direction along an axis to draw fluid into the chamber, and the piston is movable relative to the chamber in a second direction opposite the first direction to discharge fluid from the chamber. The piston has stroke lengths that are selectable via the different rotational positions of the piston and that are associated with metered quantities of fluid to be drawn into the chamber. An anti-reversal feature is disposed between the piston and the body. The anti-reversal feature inhibits reversal of the piston during movement of the piston in the first direction or the second direction.

Fluid dispensing apparatus and method

A dispenser system including a source of chemical concentrate, a source of diluent, and a mix chamber in fluid communication with the source of chemical concentrate via a first line and with the source of diluent via a second line to mix chemical concentrate and diluent to form a dilution. The dispenser system also includes one or more metering devices disposed in one or both of the first line and the second line, a discharge fluidly coupled to the mix chamber to deliver the dilution to a downstream receptacle, and a control system in communication with the one or more metering devices. The control system is programmed to adjust a concentration of chemical concentrate in the dilution via control of the one or more metering devices based on an environmental factor affecting a physical environment to be cleaned using the dilution.

Dilution adjustment system and method

A fluid dispenser for containing and dispensing metered amounts of fluid that includes a reservoir for containing fluid and a chamber positioned substantially within the reservoir for containing a quantity of the fluid. The fluid dispenser additionally includes a piston that is moveable within the chamber to draw fluid into the chamber when the piston is moved in a first direction with respect to the chamber, and to discharge fluid from the chamber when the piston is moved in a second direction opposite the first direction. Further, the fluid dispenser includes a user-manipulatable control coupled to the piston and rotatable about an axis to select one of at least two different metered quantities of fluid to be dispensed. The user-manipulatable control is further movable to move the piston relative to the chamber along the axis to selectively dispense the selected metered quantity of fluid.

A dispensing cap including a first housing portion defining a first chamber, a lid coupled to the first housing and defining an outlet, the lid movable between a first position and a second position, a second housing portion defining a second chamber in fluid communication with the first chamber, the second housing portion further defining a third chamber separate from the second chamber, wherein when the lid is in the first position, the outlet is in fluid communication with the second chamber to dispense a first volume of fluid, and wherein when the lid in the second position, the outlet is in fluid connection with the second chamber and the third chamber to dispense a second volume of fluid. A method of operating a dispensing cap is also provided.

A liquid dispenser includes a container having an interior adapted to hold a fluid. An air vent is coupled to the container, and a balloon is disposed in the container and in fluid communication with the air vent to provide selective fluid communication between the interior and an exterior of the container, the balloon movable from an undeployed state to a deployed state, and the balloon in the deployed state having a position in which the balloon establishes fluid communication between the exterior of the container and the interior of the container.

Liquid dispensng container and method

A fluid dispenser contains and dispenses metered amounts of fluid, and in some embodiments comprises a reservoir for containing fluid; a chamber positioned substantially within the reservoir for containing a quantity of fluid; and a piston moveable within the chamber in a first direction to draw fluid into the chamber from the reservoir, and movable in a second direction to discharge a metered amount of fluid from the chamber. A user-manipulatable control can be coupled to the piston to move the piston with respect to the chamber, and in some cases to select the desired metered amount of fluid to be dispensed. Also, a pawl can be used to selectively permit and inhibit movement of the piston in the first and/or second directions to prevent partial doses from being dispensed from the fluid dispenser.

A liquid dispenser including a container that has an interior adapted to support a fluid. The liquid dispenser includes an air vent that is coupled to the container, and a balloon that is disposed in the container and in fluid communication with the air vent to provide fluid communication between the interior and an exterior of the container. The balloon is movable from an undeployed state to a deployed state in response to a pressure change between the interior and the exterior of the container. The balloon in the undeployed state is incapable of fluid communication between the interior and the exterior of the container, and the balloon in the deployed state has a position in which the balloon establishes fluid communication between the exterior of the container and the interior of the container.

Liquid dispensing container and method

A dispensing apparatus for delivering fluid or liquid to a container (e.g. a bottle), has a container holding device and a fluid delivery system delivering fluid to a dispensing outlet under control of an actuation member, which causes the fluid delivery system to deliver fluid in response to movement of the actuation member from its start position. A dispensing lock has a first position in which it blocks movement of the actuation member from its start position, and a second position in which it permits movement of the actuation member. A release member that releases the dispensing lock includes a movable release member which is moved by the container, during its insertion into the refill position, so as to release the dispensing lock by bringing the dispensing lock to said second position, thus enabling fluid to be delivered.
