An embodiment of a user equipment supports conditional handovers to one or more cells of a cellular network. The user equipment is configured to receive configuration data from the cellular network. The configuration data indicates for a plurality of target cells of the cellular network, conditions to trigger a conditional handover to any of the target cells. The user equipment is further configured to check the conditions with respect to appliance, and, in case of appliance, trigger the conditional handover.

A device for communicating in a wireless communication network to transmit transmission information by transmitting a wireless signal in a random access channel of wireless communication network includes a wireless interface configured for transmitting the wireless signal and a control unit configured for providing the wireless signals so as to include a random access preamble. Data-centric event-based random access procedure

During a unicast communication with a transmitting UE using the sidelink, the UE receives from the transmitting UE a transmission during a transmission time interval, the transmission associated to control data, e.g. SCI, including a HARQ process ID, buffers the received transmission for the HARQ process, and combines the buffered transmissions prior to decoding. In case a successfully identified transmission is not buffered, the UE indicates to the transmitting UE that the transmission is not buffered at the UE.

V2X HARQ process management

A user equipment, UE, for a wireless communication network including one or more base stations, performs a transmission to a base station using a grant-free, GF, transmission scheme. The transmission being performed in accordance with a GF transmission configuration. The UE receives from the base station a certain signaling. The certain signaling indicates that the base station failed to identify the UE from the transmission. Responsive to the certain signaling from the base station, the UE retransmits the transmission in accordance with a GF retransmission configuration. The GF retransmission configuration is different from the GF transmission configuration.

A wireless communication system includes one or more base stations, and a plurality of UEs for a sidelink communication using sidelink resources. The UEs includes a transmitting UE and a receiving UE using a subset of the sidelink resources of the wireless communication system. The receiving UE sends over the sidelink a sidelink feedback to the transmitting UE. The sidelink feedback indicates for a data transmission a successful or non-successful reception at the receiving UE. The transmitting UE reports the sidelink feedback to a base station. The base station provides to the transmitting UE, responsive to the sidelink feedback, sidelink resources for a possible retransmission of a data packet over the sidelink to the receiving UE. The reporting of the sidelink feedback to the base station by the transmitting UE is activated or deactivated responsive to one or more conditions.

Advanced feedback in sidelink

A wireless communication system includes a plurality of user devices, UEs, and at least one logical group defined in accordance with one or more logical group criteria. The logical group includes a plurality of member UEs to be connected via sidelink for sidelink communication with each other, and all member UEs of the logical group have assigned the same destination identification, ID, the destination ID being unique for the logical group.

The plurality of user equipment is configured for a sidelink communication (e.g., a sidelink transmission), wherein a sidelink communication includes one or more sidelink frames each having a control region and a data region wherein the control region includes a first control region and a second control region, wherein the first control region including basic information regarding a sidelink transmission of a packet, the second control region including information regarding data transmission resource location or data transmission resource locations of the packet. Here, a transmission of the packet uses more than a single data transmission resource location in a single sidelink frame, and/or wherein the packet is to be transmitted in data transmission resource locations across one or more subsequent sidelink frames, or wherein multiple versions of the packet are to be transmitted in data transmission resource locations across one or more subsequent sidelink frames.

V2X dynamic groupcast resource allocation

An apparatus for a wireless communication system includes a plurality of base stations and a plurality of UEs. The apparatus is to be connected to a base station for a communication with the base station, and one or more UEs via a sidelink for a sidelink communication. The apparatus and the one or more UEs form a group of user devices. The apparatus is to request from a base station, directly or indirectly, resources for a sidelink communication with the one or more UEs of the group, and is to obtain from the base station, directly or indirectly, information about at least one set of resources to be used for the sidelink communication within the group. Each of the sets of resources is only or exclusively used within the group, and the group members include the apparatus and the one or more UEs of the group.

Resource pool design for group communications

A user device for a wireless communication system is served by a base station and uses one or more frequency bands for a communication with one or more entities in the wireless communication system. The frequency bands include CORESETs, each including one or more search spaces carrying control information for the UE. The UE groups some or all of the CORESETs into respective CORESET groups, or some or all of the search spaces into respective search space groups. A CORESET group includes some or all CORESETs within a certain time window, and a search space group includes some or all search spaces within the certain time window. The grouping is responsive to one or more group IDs the UE is configured with, each group ID pointing to or indicating a CORESET group or a search space group, and/or determining CORESETs or search spaces to be within the same time window.
