A transmission for distributing a drive torque to two drive output shafts, with two planetary gearsets each having at least three shafts. A respective shaft of a planetary gearset is connected to a drive input shaft. Furthermore, one shaft of each planetary gearset constitutes one of the output shafts and in each case at least one further shaft of a planetary gearset is connected with a shaft of another planetary gearset. An operation-status-dependent torque of one shaft can be supported by the connection, depending on an operating status of the other shaft connected thereto, in such manner that when there is a rotation speed difference between the output shafts, a speed-difference-changing torque is applied to the planetary gearsets. Furthermore, a drive train is proposed, in which a drive torque from a drive-power-source is distributed variably in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the vehicle in an operation-status-dependent manner.

Transmission and drive train for a vehicle

A transmission for distributing a drive torque between at least two drive output shafts with at least two planetary gearsets, each having at least three-shafts. In each case, a shaft of a planetary gearset is connected to a drive input shaft and a second respective shaft of a planetary gearsets is the drive output shafts. A respective third shaft of the planetary gearsets communicates with a brake such that a degree of distribution of the drive torque between the two output shafts varies as a function of the transfer capacities of the brakes. A transmission device controls and regulates a drive torque from a drive engine between the two output shafts of the transmission device. The transfer capacities of the two brakes are adjusted such that one brake is in a synchronous condition and the transfer capacity of the other brake is varied between a lower and an upper limiting value.

Transmission device and method for controlling and regulating a transmission device

A method for controlling of a drive train of a vehicle having a multi-group transmission, an output mechanism and a control apparatus for the regulation of the drive train. The multi-group transmission consists of an automatic transmission and a range group. To change the ratio of the range group the drive train is relieved of load; a shifting element of the range group is closed; a shifting element of the range group is synchronized and opened; and a ratio of the automatic transmission is so altered that a change of the ratio of the multi-group transmission is less than in a case of an individual alteration of the ratio of the range group.

Method for controlling a drivetrain of a vehicle

Disclosed is a method for controlling a drive train () of a motor vehicle, especially an off-road vehicle, comprising a drive engine (), a multi-group transmission (), an output and a control device. The multi-group transmission () consists of at least one automatic gearbox () and a downstream range-change unit (). When a modification occurs in the multiplication of the range-change unit (), a) the drive train is relieved by modifying the torque of the drive engine (), a shift element () to be switched off in said range-change unit () is disconnected, c) a shift element () to be switched on in said range-change unit is synchronized and switched on and d) a multiplication of the automatic gearbox () is modified in such a way that the modification of the multiplication of the multi-group transmission () is smaller than a single modification of the multiplication of the range-change unit (). A rotational speed of the drive engine () is adjusted by a modification in the transmissibility of at least one shift element of the automatic gearbox () to a coupling rotational speed equivalent to the adjusting multiplication of the multi-group transmission () at which the shift element to be switched on in the range-change unit () is synchronous.

Method for controlling the drive train of a vehicle

A method for controlling a drivetrain () in a motor vehicle is disclosed, in particular in an off-road vehicle with a drive unit (), a multi-group transmission () and an output. The multi-group transmission () comprises at least an automatic gearbox () and a subsequent range transfer box () which may be switched by means of switching elements (). On changing the ratio in the range transfer box (), a synchronisation of the switching element (or), for switching in the range transfer box (), is carried out by means of a controller of switching elements in the automatic gearbox ().

Method for controlling a drivetrain in a motor vehicle

A transfer case () with controllable clutch () for a motor vehicle, especially for a motor vehicle with part-time four-wheel drive, for distributing a driving torque coming in via a drive shaft () to at least two output shafts (). Hereby the output shaft () can be connected to the drive shaft () via the clutch (), and the clutch () can be actuated via an electric motor () and a drive converter device () that is arranged between the electric motor () and the clutch () for converting a rotatory motion of the electric motor () into a translatory actuating motion for the clutch (). The electric motor () is hereby designed as an induction motor.

A distributor gear () with an adjustable coupling device () for a vehicle, in particular for a vehicle with a shiftable all-wheel drive is described for the distribution of an incoming drive torque via a drive shaft () to at least two output shafts (). It is moreover provided that an output shaft () can be connected via the coupling device () with the drive shaft () and that the coupling device () can be actuated via an electric motor () and a drive converter device () located between the electric motor () and the coupling device () for the conversion of rotary movement of the electric motor () into a translatory actuation movement for the coupling device (). The electric motor () is incorporated into a gear ().

Distributor gear with adjustable coupling

In an electromagnetically actuated dual clutch-brake combination (), a drive input shaft () can be optionally engaged in drive connection with a first drive output shaft () or with a second drive output shaft (). The second drive output shaft () is associated with an electromagnetic brake (), which is provided in order to immobilize the second drive output shaft (), whereas the first drive output shaft () can still be connected to the drive input shaft () by an electromagnetic clutch (). The electromagnetic dual clutch-brake combination is suitable for controlling a variable longitudinal differential lock and a shiftable range gear system of an all-wheel distributor gearbox, with only a single electric motor.

Electromagnetically actuated dual clutch-brake combination

A device for guiding torque of one drive shaft () connected with a driving appliance () onto a first or a second output shaft (). A torque fed via the drive shaft () can be applied, respectively, to one of the two output shafts () depending on a control of a changeover device (). The changeover device () comprises one electromagnetic clutch () which can produce a power flow between the drive shaft () and the first or the second output shaft (or). The electromagnetic clutch () comprises a coupling element () which is guided and displaced in an axially and rotatable manner and is fixedly connected with the drive shaft () and depending on a current supply of the electromagnetic clutch () produces the power flow between the drive shaft () and the first or the second output shaft (or).

Device for guiding a driving torque

An auxiliary transmission () with controllable clutch () is described for the optional distribution of a drive output torque to one or more drive output shafts with a reduction gear stage () and with a hydraulic pump (). The hydraulic pump () is arranged on a transmission input shaft () and the reduction gear stage () is connected in series in such manner that the drive input power to the hydraulic pump () remains at least approximately the same when a range change takes place in the reduction gear stage ().

Auxiliary transmission with controllable clutch

An all-wheel distributor transmission ( ) is described for a motor vehicle comprising a planetary gear set as multiplication step ( ) for a switchable off-road gear and a planetary gear set ( ) with variable division for distributing a drive torque onto a front axle and a rear axle. The all-wheel distributor transmission ( ) also has an adjustable lock ( ) for locking between the front axle and the rear axle, the lock ( ) and the multiplication step ( ) being actuatable via a controllable drive device ( ). The drive device ( ) comprises a drive shaft ( ) and two output shafts ( ), the first output shaft ( ) being in operative connection with the multiplication step ( ) and the second output shaft ( ) being in operative connection with the lock ( ).
