The invention relates to a composition comprising at least one first polyamide, conforming to the formula MXD&#xb7;10 or MXD&#xb7;10/Z and having a melting temperature Tf, and at least one second polyamide. Said at least second polyamide has a melting temperature Tfsuch that Tf&#x2212;40&#xb0; C.&#x2264;Tf&#x3c;Tf+20&#xb0; C. The invention likewise relates to an article obtained from such a composition, to a method of shaping such an article, and to the use of such a composition and of such an article.

Polyamide-based composition, article obtained therefrom, and uses thereof

One subject of the present invention is a composition that combines at least one polyamide having at least one MXD entity, MXD denoting meta-xylylenediamine or a mixture of meta-xylylenediamine and of para-xylylenediamine, with a bioresourced reinforcement. The invention also relates to the conversion of these compositions, by injection molding or extrusion, into objects that have good mechanical properties, said objects corresponding to technical application specifications such as may be found, for example, in the automotive industry, construction, sport and in electrical or electronic fields.

The high molecular weight polyamide is one having a molecular weight in the range of 20,000 to 35,000 and also having an inherent viscosity of 1.05-1.60 dL/g.
