A cannula device () comprises a housing (), a cannula () arranged on the housing (), and a puncture device () which, in a use state, is arranged on the housing () and comprises a puncture trocar () received in the cannula (). Cannula device

The invention relates to a connector () for connecting a catheter () to a fluid transfer system comprising a main body () with a tubular pin () adapted to be inserted into an end portion () of the catheter () such as to provide a fluid connection between the catheter () and the tubular pin (). The connector () is characterized in that a fixing means () is movably connected to the main body (), wherein the fixing means () is adapted to fix the catheter () to the connector () when the fixing means () is in a fixing position.

A catheter device () for providing access to a body cavity of a patient comprises a tube () and an inserting shell () arranged on the tube () and constituted to be fastened to an insertion guide () for inserting the catheter device () into a body opening (C) of a patient (P). Herein, the inserting shell () comprises an opening () into which a thread () of the insertion guide () is insertable for fastening the catheter device () to the insertion guide (). In this way, a catheter device is provided which, in an easy and efficient manner, allows for the fastening to an insertion guide.

The invention relates to a cannulation device () for providing an access to a patient through a skin of the patient, comprising a puncture needle () with a needle tip () for puncturing the skin of the patient and a cannula (). The cannulation device () is characterized in that the puncture needle () is movably connected to the cannula ().

Cannulation device

An infusion device () comprises a housing element () having a receptacle () for receiving a pump module (), and a pump actuation mechanism () having a wobbling device () arranged on the housing element () and a drive shaft () being rotatable about a rotational axis (A). The wobbling device () is actuatable, by rotating the drive shaft () about the rotational axis (A), to perform a tumbling motion with respect to the receptacle () for acting onto the pump module () received in the receptacle () in order to pump a fluid through the pump module (). Herein, the wobbling device () is displaceable along at least one direction (X, Y) transverse to the rotational axis (A) with respect to the receptacle (). In this way an infusion device is provided which in an easy and cost-efficient manner allows for improving the positional accuracy of the pump module with respect to the wobbling device of the pump actuation mechanism upon arranging the pump module on the receptacle of the housing element.

A retention member () for securing a catheter () on a patient (P) comprises a base element () having a bottom side () and a top side (), the bottom side being placeable on the patient (P) and the top side () being adapted for receiving the catheter (). The retention member () furthermore comprises a ribbon () having a first end () connected to the top side () of the base element () and having a second end () opposite the first end (), wherein the base element () comprises at least one opening () through which the second end () of the ribbon () is insertable for fixing the catheter () on the retention member () in between the base element () and the ribbon (). In this way a retention member is provided which is easy and safe to use, may suit to secure catheters of different sizes on a patient and at the same time may be manufactured in a cost-effective manner.

An infusion device ()comprises a housing ()having a front side ()and a back side ()opposite to the front side (). A display device ()is arranged at the front side ()of the housing (). A pump mechanism ()serves to act onto a disposable pump module (), the pump mechanism ()being included in the housing (). Herein, the housing ()is constituted to receive the disposable pump module ()at the back side (). In this way an infusion device is provided which allows placing a disposable pump module on the housing of the infusion device and which may offer space savings over existing infusion devices.

Infusion device

An infusion device includes a pump device having a housing and a flexible wall section together forming a channel extending along a channel length between first and second ends. An actuation device locally depresses the flexible wall section in a vertical direction, and is displaceable along the vertical direction. To pump a fluid through the channel, the actuation device is actuated to depress the flexible wall section at a depression location, the depression location during one pump cycle moving along the channel length. To calibrate the infusion device, the position of the actuation device along the vertical direction during one pump cycle is measured to obtain a measured profile, a difference between the measured profile and a prestored nominal profile is formed to obtain a difference profile, and from the difference profile a characteristic value for correcting and/or checking the pump operation of the infusion device is calculated.

Method for calibrating an infusion device

A valve device () for a medical system comprises a valve housing (), an inlet port () arranged on the valve housing (), an outlet port () arranged on the valve housing (), a flow duct () extending through the valve housing () connecting the inlet port () and the outlet port () to allow for a fluid flow (P) through the valve housing between the inlet port () and the outlet port (), and a closure element () arranged on the valve housing () for selectively opening and closing the flow duct (). Herein, the closure element () is displaceable along a displacement direction (A) relative to the valve housing () between a closed position in which the flow duct () is closed for preventing the fluid flow (P) from the inlet port () to the outlet port () and an opened position in which the flow duct () is opened for allowing the fluid flow (P) from the inlet port () to the outlet port (), wherein the closure element () is elastically pretensioned towards the closed position. In this way the valve device is provided which allows for an optimized integration into a medical device such as an infusion line or an infusion pump.
