A lubricity improver composition for fuel oil composition contains a dicarboxylic acid monoester represented by the formula (I) as component A, and a Clong-chain fatty acid, its polyol ester or a mixture thereof as component B. The total amount of component A and component B is 70-100 wt %, based on the total weight of the composition. The mass ratio of component A to component B is 9:1 to 1:9.

A lubricity modifier for fuels contain a dicarboxylic acid monoester compound represented by formula (I). In formula (I), Rrepresents a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted Cdivalent alkenyl group, or a group having a structure of —R—R—R—; Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted Chydrocarbyl group; Rand Reach independently represents a single bond, or a substituted or unsubstituted Cdivalent alkyl group; and Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted Cdivalent alicyclic group.
