A wireless electric energy transmission system is provided, including a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter includes a DC/AC inverter circuit, a first inductor, and a first capacitor that are connected in series. The transmitter is configured to: detect a value of a resonant frequency of the transmitter; detect a value of a coupling coefficient between the transmitter and the receiver; obtain a value of a constant-voltage operating frequency of the transmitter through calculation based on the resonant frequency and the coupling coefficient; and control an operating frequency of the DC/AC inverter circuit based on the constant-voltage operating frequency obtained through calculation.

Wireless electric energy transmission system

A wireless charging apparatus is provided, which includes a transmit end or a receive end. The transmit end includes a transmit end resonant network and an inverter circuit, and the transmit end resonant network includes a transmitting coil. The receive end includes a receive end resonant network and a rectifier circuit, and the receive end resonant network includes a receiving coil. The apparatus further includes a controller which is configured to obtain a relative position between the transmit end and the receive end based on a self-inductance of the transmitting coil and at least one parameter. The at least one parameter includes a current of the transmitting coil, efficiency of a wireless charging system formed by the transmit end and the receive end, and a direct current output voltage at the receive end. There is a single change relationship between the at least one parameter and the relative position.

Wireless charging apparatus, position detection method, and system

This application provides a wireless power transmission system. The system includes a transmitter and a receiver, where the transmitter includes a DC/AC inverter circuit, a first resonant inductor, a first capacitor, and a first compensation inductor that are connected in series; and the receiver includes an AC/DC rectifier circuit, a second resonant inductor, a second capacitor, and a second compensation inductor that are connected in series; and power at the transmitter is transmitted to the receiver through electromagnetic induction between the first resonant inductor and the second resonant inductor, and the AC/DC rectifier circuit is configured to provide the rectified power to a load of the receiver. This solution is applicable to a wireless power supply scenario or a wireless charging scenario.

Wireless power transmission system

This application discloses a wireless charging apparatus, a position detection method, and a system. The apparatus includes a transceiver end (), and the transceiver end () includes a resonant network and a power conversion circuit. The apparatus further includes a controller (), which is configured to determine a relative position between a transmit end () and a receive end () based on a self-inductance of a transmitting coil and at least one parameter, where the at least one parameter includes at least one of a coupling coefficient between the transmitting coil and a receiving coil and a coil mutual inductance between the transmitting coil and the receiving coil. The relative position between the transmit end () and the receive end () of wireless charging can be accurately detected by using the self-inductance of the transmitting coil and at least one of the coupling coefficient and the coil mutual inductance.

A wireless charging device is provided in this application, which includes: a transmitter coil, a controller, and at least two detection coils. The at least two detection coils are located on a side of a plane on which the transmitter coil is located, and a plane on which the detection coils are located is parallel to the plane on which the transmitter coil is located. The controller is configured to: separately control the at least two detection coils to sequentially connect to an excitation power source, obtain parameters of the detection coils connected to the excitation power source, and control, based on a value difference between the parameters of the at least two detection coils, the transmitter coil to move, so that the transmitter coil aligns with a receiver coil in an electronic device. Furthermore, an automatic alignment method and a charging dock are also provided in this application.

A wirelessly charged electronic device, a wireless charging method, and a wireless charging system are disclosed. A charger of a receive end of the system includes an open-loop DC-DC (direct current-to-direct current) converter. When power of a transmit end is greater than a first preset threshold of the transmit end and required charging power is greater than a first preset threshold of a receive end, the open-loop DC-DC converter is controlled to work in a fast charging phase, specifically including: controlling the open-loop DC-DC converter to work in a constant current step-down phase to charge a battery at a constant current, or controlling the open-loop DC-DC converter to work in a constant voltage step-down phase to charge the battery at a constant voltage.

Wirelessly charged electronic device, wireless charging method, and wireless charging system

Described herein are wireless battery charging systems and methods for use therewith. Such a system can include a wireless power receiver (RX) that receives power wirelessly from a wireless power transmitter (TX) and in dependence thereon produces a DC output voltage (Vout). The system can also include a closed-loop charger and an open-loop charger each including a voltage input terminal and a voltage output terminal. The voltage input terminal of each of the chargers accepts the output voltage (Vout) from the wireless power RX. The voltage output terminal of each of the chargers is couplable to a terminal of the battery to be charged. A controller selectively enables one of the closed-loop or open-loop chargers at a time so that during a first set of charging phases the closed-loop charger is used to charge the battery, and during a second set of the charging phases the open-loop charger is used.

Wireless battery charging with improved efficiency

Described herein is an apparatus having a wireless power receiver comprising a receiver coil used to receive power wirelessly and to communicate wirelessly. The wireless power receiver outputs power to a bus based on the wirelessly received power. The apparatus has an open-loop DC-DC converter and a linear regulator. The apparatus has a controller configured to enable the open-loop DC-DC converter to use the power on the bus to charge a battery. The controller is further configured to control the linear regulator to stabilize a current in the bus at the output of the wireless power receiver to reduce interference to the wireless communication when using the receiver coil to wirelessly communicate from the wireless power receiver to the transmitter of the power while the open-loop DC-DC converter is being used to charge the battery.
