A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a fabricating method thereof are described. First, a first substrate and a second substrate are provided. A liquid crystal monomer layer is then formed on the surface of at least one of the first and second substrates. Next, a curing step is performed to the liquid crystal monomer layer to induce a polymerization reaction, so as to form a liquid crystal polymer layer. Thereafter, the first and second substrates are assembled and a liquid crystal layer is filled between the first and second substrates.

Fabricating method of liquid crystal display panel

The invention provides a reference electrode including a liquid electrolyte containing water, a water soluble organic compound with molecular size and boiling point are both greater than water, and an ionic salt; a solid crystal of the ionic salt in the liquid electrolyte; a metal/metal salt complex layer in contact with the liquid electrolyte; an leading wire connected to the metal/metal salt complex layer; an insulation case for containing the liquid electrolyte; and a nano-porous junction material embedded in the insulation case for contacting the liquid electrolyte, wherein a pore size of the nano-porous junction material is greater than a cation diameter of the ionic salt but smaller than a molecular length of the water soluble organic compound. The solid crystal of the ionic salt is the sediment of part of the ionic salt because the amount of the ionic salt is more than its solubility in the liquid electrolyte.

Reference electrode

A through hole capacitor at least including a substrate, an anode layer, a dielectric layer, a first cathode layer, and a second cathode layer is provided. The substrate has a plurality of through holes. The anode layer is disposed on the inner surface of at least one through hole, and the surface of the anode layer is a porous structure. The dielectric layer is disposed on the porous structure of the anode layer. The first cathode layer covers a surface of the dielectric layer. The second cathode layer covers a surface of the first cathode layer, and the conductivity of the second cathode layer is greater than that of the first cathode layer. The through hole capacitor can be used for impedance control, as the cathode layers of the through hole are used for signal transmission.

Through hole capacitor and method of manufacturing the same

A hybrid capacitor is provided which includes a substrate, at least one plate capacitor and at least one through hole capacitor. The substrate has through holes and the plate capacitors are on the substrate. At least one through hole capacitor and at least one plate capacitor are in parallel. The through hole capacitor at least includes an anode layer, a first dielectric layer, a first cathode layer and a second cathode layer. The anode layer is disposed on an inner surface of at least one through hole, and a surface of the anode layer is a porous structure. The first dielectric layer is disposed on the porous structure of the anode layer and covered with the first cathode layer. The first cathode layer is covered with the second cathode layer. A conductivity of the second cathode layer is larger than a conductivity of the first cathode layer.

Hybrid capacitor

A method to control the pretilt angle of a liquid crystal device is disclosed. The claimed invention provides two substrates and at least one vertical alignment layers, which are fabricated on one side of each substrate and are opposite to each other. Moreover, a liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between the alignment layers, and the preferred embodiment of the liquid crystal device has an Optically Compensated Birefrigence (OCB) configuration. More particularly, before the process of alignment for the liquid crystal device is performed, a pretilt angle disclosed in the present invention is adjusted since at least one vertical alignment layer is treated with a particle beam generated by plasma or ions. The pretilt angle can range between 5 and 85 degrees.

Method to control the pretilt angle of liquid crystal device

A solid electrolytic capacitor having multiple capacitor elements and a lead frame is provided. Each capacitor element includes an anode part, a cathode part, an insulating part and at least one first slit. The cathode part is disposed opposite to the anode part. The insulating part is disposed between the anode part and the cathode part. The first slit is disposed at the anode part. The lead frame has an upper surface and a lower surface where the capacitor elements are stacked on. The lead frame includes an anode terminal part electrically connected to the anode part, and includes a cathode terminal part electrically connected to the cathode part. Specially, the anode terminal part includes at least one first projecting part, which projects toward the upper surface. The capacitor elements are stacked on the upper surface and the first slit is inserted into the first projecting part.

Solid electrolytic capacitor and lead frame thereof

A method that uses at least one hydrogen ion beam for alignment of liquid crystal molecules is proposed in the present invention. The method of the present invention is proposed to resolve the problems of physical destruction and surface deterioration of the alignment films caused by the conventional method using argon ions beams. The method of the present invention directly uses at least one hydrogen ion beam to impact the alignment film. Hence, the physical destruction of the alignment film is reduced. In addition, via the reaction between hydrogen ions and the alignment films, the quality of the alignment film is improved.
